| 2 Los sumos sacerdotes y los escribas buscaban la manera de eliminar a Jesús, porque tenían medio del pueblo. | 2 And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to put him to death; for they feared the people. |

| 13 Los discípulos partieron, encontraron todo como Jesús les había dicho y prepararon la Pascua. | 13 And they went, and found it as he had told them; and they prepared the passover. |

| 17 Y tomando una copa, dio gracias y dijo: «Tomen y compártanla entre ustedes. | 17 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, "Take this, and divide it among yourselves; |
| 18 Porque les aseguro que desde ahora no beberé más del fruto de la vid hasta que llegue el Reino de Dios». | 18 for I tell you that from now on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes." |
| 19 Luego tomó el pan, dio gracias, lo partió y lo dio a sus discípulos, diciendo: «Esto es mi Cuerpo, que se entrega por ustedes. Hagan esto en memoria mía». | 19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." |
| 20 Después de la cena hizo lo mismo con la copa, diciendo: «Esta copa es la Nueva Alianza sellada con mi Sangre, que se derrama por ustedes. | 20 And likewise the cup after supper, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. |
| 21 La mano del traidor está sobre la mesa, junto a mí. | 21 But behold the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. |
| 22 Porque el Hijo del hombre va por el camino que le ha sido señalado, pero ¡ay de aquel que lo va a entregar!». | 22 For the Son of man goes as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!" |
| 23 Entonces comenzaron a preguntarse unos a otros quién de ellos sería el que iba a hacer eso. | 23 And they began to question one another, which of them it was that would do this. |

| 26 Pero entre ustedes no debe ser así. Al contrario, el que es más grande, que se comporte como el menor, y el que gobierna, como un servidor. | 26 But not so with you; rather let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. |
| 27 Porque, ¿quién es más grande, el que está a la mesa o el que sirve? ¿No es acaso el que está a la mesa? Y sin embargo, yo estoy entre ustedes como el que sirve. | 27 For which is the greater, one who sits at table, or one who serves? Is it not the one who sits at table? But I am among you as one who serves. |
| 28 Ustedes son los que han permanecido siempre conmigo en medio de mis pruebas. | 28 "You are those who have continued with me in my trials; |
| 29 Por eso yo les confiero la realeza, como mi Padre me la confirió a mí, | 29 and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom, |
| 30 Y en mi Reino, ustedes comerán y beberán en mi mesa, y se sentarán sobre tronos para juzgar a las doce tribus de Israel. | 30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. |

| 36 «Nada», respondieron. El agregó: «Pero ahora el que tenga una bolsa, que la lleve; el que tenga una alforja, que la lleve también; y el que no tenga espada, que venda su manto para comprar una. | 36 He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one. |
| 37 Porque les aseguro que debe cumplirse en mí esta palabra de la Escritura: Fue contado entre los malhechores. Ya llega a su fin todo lo que se refiere a mí». | 37 For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in me, 'And he was reckoned with transgressors'; for what is written about me has its fulfilment." |
| 38 «Señor, le dijeron, aquí hay dos espadas». El les respondió: «Basta». | 38 And they said, "Look, Lord, here are two swords." And he said to them, "It is enough." |
| 39 En seguida Jesús salió y fue como de costumbre al monte de los Olivos, seguido de sus discípulos. | 39 And he came out, and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples followed him. |

| 49 Los que estaban con Jesús, viendo lo que iba a suceder, le preguntaron: «Señor, ¿usamos la espada?» | 49 And when those who were about him saw what would follow, they said, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?" |
| 50 Y uno de ellos hirió con su espada al servidor del Sumo Sacerdote, cortándole la oreja derecha. | 50 And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear. |
| 51 Pero Jesús dijo: «Dejen, ya está». Y tocándole la oreja, lo curó. | 51 But Jesus said, "No more of this!" And he touched his ear and healed him. |
| 52 Después dijo a los sumos sacerdotes, a los jefes de la guardia del Templo y a los ancianos que habían venido a arrestarlo: «¿Soy acaso un ladrón para que vengan con espadas y palos? | 52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? |
| 53 Todos los días estaba con ustedes en el Templo y no me arrestaron. Pero esta es la hora de ustedes y el poder de las tinieblas». | 53 When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness." |

Llevaron a Jesús ante el tribunal | 66 When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away to their council, and they said, |
| 67 y le dijeron: «Dinos si eres el Mesías». El les dijo: «Si yo les respondo, ustedes no me creerán, | 67 "If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe; |
| 68 y si los interrogo, no me responderán. | 68 and if I ask you, you will not answer. |
| 69 Pero en adelante, el Hijo del hombre se sentará a la derecha de Dios todopoderoso». | 69 But from now on the Son of man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God." |
