1 Canto de peregrinación. De Salomón. Si el Señor no edifica la casa, en vano trabajan los albañiles; si el Señor no custodia la ciudad en vano vigila el centinela.	1 A Canticle in steps. Blessed are all those who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways.
2 Es inútil que ustedes madruguen; es inútil que velen hasta muy tarde y se desvivan por ganar el pan: ¡Dios lo da a sus amigos mientras duermen!	2 For you will eat by the labors of your hands. Blessed are you, and it will be well with you.
3 Los hijos son un regalo del Señor, el fruto del vientre es una recompensa;	3 Your wife is like an abundant vine on the sides of your house. Your sons are like young olive trees surrounding your table.
4 como flechas en la mano de un guerrero son los hijos de la juventud.	4 Behold, so will the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
5 ¡Feliz el hombre que llena con ellos su aljaba! No será humillado al discutir con sus enemigos en la puerta de la ciudad.	5 May the Lord bless you from Zion, and may you see the good things of Jerusalem, all the days of your life.
