1 Del maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda. Poema. De David.	1 [For the choirmaster On stringed instruments Poem Of David When the Ziphites went to Saul andsaid,'Is not David hiding with us?'] God, save me by your name, in your power vindicate me.
2 Cuando los zifitas vinieron a decir a Saúl: «¿No está escondido David entre nosotros?»	2 God, hear my prayer, listen to the words I speak.
3 ¡Oh Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, por tu poderío hazme justicia,	3 Arrogant men are attacking me, bullies hounding me to death, no room in their thoughts forGod.Pause
4 oh Dios, escucha mi oración, atiende a las palabras de mi boca!	4 But now God is coming to my help, the Lord, among those who sustain me.
5 Pues se han alzado contra mí arrogantes, rabiosos andan en busca de mi alma, sin tener para nada a Dios presente. Pausa.	5 May their wickedness recoil on those who lie in wait for me. Yahweh, in your constancy destroy them.
6 Mas ved que Dios viene en mi auxilio, el Señor con aquellos que sostienen mi alma.	6 How gladly wil I offer you sacrifice, and praise your name, for it is good,
7 ¡El mal recaiga sobre los que me asechan, Yahveh, por tu verdad destrúyelos!	7 for it has rescued me from al my troubles, and my eye has feasted on my enemies.
8 De corazón te ofreceré sacrificios, celebraré tu nombre, porque es bueno,
9 porque de toda angustia me ha librado, y mi ojo se recreó en mis enemigos
