1 ¡Aleluya! Alabad a Yahveh, que es bueno salmodiar, a nuestro Dios, que es dulce la alabanza.	1 Hallelujah! How good to celebrate our God in song; how sweet to give fitting praise.
2 Edifica Yahveh a Jerusalén, congrega a los deportados de Israel;	2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, gathers the dispersed of Israel,
3 él sana a los de roto corazón, y venda sus heridas.	3 Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds,
4 El cuenta el número de estrellas, y llama a cada una por su nombre;	4 Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.
5 grande es nuestro Señor, y de gran fuerza, no tiene medida su saber.	5 Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.
6 Yahveh sostiene a los humildes, hasta la tierra abate a los impíos.	6 The LORD sustains the poor, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Cantad a Yahveh en acción de gracias, salmodiad a la cítara para nuestro Dios:	7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; with the lyre celebrate our God,
8 El que cubre de nubes los cielos, el que lluvia a la tierra prepara, el que hace germinar en los montes la hierba, y las plantas para usos del hombre,	8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, makes grass sprout on the mountains,
9 el que dispensa al ganado su sustento, a las crías del cuervo cuando chillan.	9 Who gives animals their food and ravens what they cry for.
10 No le agrada el brío del caballo, ni se complace en los músculos del hombre.	10 God takes no delight in the strength of horses, no pleasure in the runner's stride.
11 Se complace Yahveh en los que le temen, en los que esperan en su amor.	11 Rather the LORD takes pleasure in the devout, those who await his faithful care.
12 ¡Celebra a Yahveh, Jerusalén, alaba a tu Dios, Sión!	12 Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God,
13 Que él ha reforzado los cerrojos de tus puertas, ha bendecido en ti a tus hijos;	13 Who has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you,
14 pone paz en tu término, te sacia con la flor del trigo.	14 Brought peace to your borders, and filled you with finest wheat.
15 El envía a la tierra su mensaje, a toda prisa corre su palabra;	15 The LORD sends a command to earth; his word runs swiftly!
16 como lana distribuye la nieve, esparce la escarcha cual ceniza.	16 Thus snow is spread like wool, frost is scattered like ash,
17 Arroja su hielo como migas de pan, a su frío ¿quién puede resistir?	17 Hail is dispersed like crumbs; before such cold the waters freeze.
18 Envía su palabra y hace derretirse, sopla su viento y corren las aguas.	18 Again he sends his word and they melt; the wind is unleashed and the waters flow.
19 El revela a Jacob su palabra, sus preceptos y sus juicios a Israel:	19 The LORD also proclaims his word to Jacob, decrees and laws to Israel.
20 no hizo tal con ninguna nación, ni una sola sus juicios conoció.	20 God has not done this for other nations; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!
