SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 وهؤلاء هم بنو داود الذين ولدوا له في حبرون. البكر امنون من اخينوعم اليزرعيلية. الثاني دانيئيل من ابيجايل الكرملية	1 These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the first-born Amnon, by Ahinoam ofJezreel; second, Daniel, by Abigail of Carmel;
2 الثالث ابشالوم ابن معكة بنت تلماي ملك جشور. الرابع ادونيا ابن حجيث	2 third, Absalom son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; fourth, Adonijah son of Haggith;
3 الخامس شفطيا من ابيطال. السادس يثرعام من عجلة امرأته.	3 fifth, Shephatiah by Abital, sixth, Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 ولد له ستة في حبرون وملك هناك سبع سنين وستة اشهر ثم ملك ثلاثا وثلاثين سنة في اورشليم.	4 Six, therefore, were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for three years and six months. Hereigned for thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
5 وهؤلاء ولدوا له في اورشليم. شمعى وشوباب وناثان وسليمان. اربعة من بثشوع بنت عمّيئيل.	5 These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, the four ofthem children of Bath-Shua daughter of Ammiel;
6 ويبحار واليشامع واليفالط	6 Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,
7 ونوجه ونافج ويافيع	7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 واليشمع والياداع واليفلط. تسعة.	8 Elishama, Eliada, Eliphelet: nine.
9 الكل بنو داود ما عدا بني السراري. وثامار هي اختهم	9 Al these were sons of David, not counting the sons of the concubines. Tamar was their sister.
10 وابن سليمان رحبعام وابنه ابيا وابنه آسا وابنه يهوشافاط	10 Sons of Solomon: Rehoboam; Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 وابنه يورام وابنه اخزيا وابنه يوآش	11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 وابنه امصيا وابنه عزريا وابنه يوثام	12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 وابنه آحاز وابنه حزقيا وابنه منسّى	13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 وابنه آمون وابنه يوشيا.	14 Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 وبنو يوشيا البكر يوحانان الثاني يهوياقيم الثالث صدقيا الرابع شلّوم.	15 Sons of Josiah: Johanan, the first-born, Jehoiakim second, Zedekiah third, Shal um fourth.
16 وابنا يهوياقيم يكنيا ابنه وصدقيا ابنه.	16 The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 وابنا يكنيا اسّير وشألتيئيل ابنه	17 Sons of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 وملكيرام وفدايا وشنأصّر ويقميا وهوشاماع وندبيا.	18 then Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jechamiah, Hoshama, Nedabiah.
19 وابنا فدايا زربابل وشمعي وبنو زربابل مشلام وحننيا وشلومية اختهم	19 Sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. Sons of Zerubbabel: Meshul am and Hananiah; Shelomithwas their sister.
20 وحشوبة واوهل وبرخيا وحسديا ويوشب حسد. خمسة.	20 Sons of Meshul am: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, Jushab-Hesed: five.
21 وبنو حننيا فلطيا ويشعيا وبنو رفايا وبنو ارنان وبنو عوبديا وبنو شكنيا	21 Sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah; Jeshaiah his son, Rephaiah his son, Arnan his son, Obadiah his son,Shecaniah his son.
22 وبنو شكنيا شمعيا وبنو شمعيا حطّوش ويجآل وباريح ونعريا وشافاط. ستة.	22 Sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, Shaphat: six.
23 وبنو نعريا إليوعيني وحزقيا وعزريقام. ثلاثة.	23 Sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, Azrikam: three.
24 وبنو اليوعيني هوداياهو والياشيب وفلايا وعقّوب ويوحانان ودلايا وعناني. سبعة	24 Sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, Anani: seven.
