2 Corinthians 9

1 Now, concerning the ministry that is done toward the saints, it is not necessary for me to write to you.	1 Riguardo poi a questo servizio in favore dei santi, è superfluo che ve ne scriva.
2 For I know your willing mind. I glory about you, concerning this, to the Macedonians. For Achaia has also been prepared, for the past year. And your example has inspired very many others.	2 Conosco bene la vostra disposizione e ne faccio vanto con i Macedoni, dicendo che l'Acaia è pronta fin dallo scorso anno, e già molti sono stati stimolati dal vostro zelo.
3 Now I have sent the brothers, so that what we glory about concerning you might be not be empty in this matter, in order that (as I have explained) you may be prepared.	3 Ho mandato i fratelli perché il nostro vanto per voi su questo punto non abbia a dimostrarsi vano, ma siate realmente pronti, come io andavo dicendo;
4 Otherwise, if the Macedonians arrive with me and find you unprepared, we (not to mention you) would be ashamed in this matter.	4 e non avvenga che, venendo con me dei Macedoni, vi trovino impreparati, e noi dobbiamo arrossire, per non dire voi, di questa fiducia.
5 Therefore, I considered it necessary to ask the brothers to go to you in advance and to prepare this blessing as promised, and in this way, you may be ready as a blessing, not as an excess.	5 Abbiamo quindi ritenuto necessario invitare i fratelli a precederci presso di voi, per organizzare la vostra offerta già menzionata, affinché sia pronta come una vera largizione e non come un'estorsione.
6 But I say this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. And whoever sows with blessings shall also reap from blessings:	6 Ricordate: chi semina scarsamente, scarsamente raccoglierà; e chi semina con larghezza, con larghezza raccoglierà.
7 each one giving, just as he has determined in his heart, neither out of sadness, nor out of obligation. For God loves a cheerful giver.	7 Ciascuno dia secondo che ha deciso nel suo cuore, non con tristezza né per forza; Dio ama il donatore gioioso.
8 And God is able to make every grace abound in you, so that, always having what you need in all things, you may abound unto every good work,	8 E Dio può riversare su di voi ogni sorta di grazie, così che, avendo ogni autosufficienza in tutto e sempre, possiate compiere generosamente tutte le opere di bene,
9 just as it was written: “He has distributed widely, he has given to the poor; his justice remains from age to age.”	9 come sta scritto: largheggiò, donò ai poveri; la sua giustizia dura nei secoli.
10 And he who ministers seed to the sower will offer you bread to eat, and will multiply your seed, and will increase the growth of the fruits of your justice.	10 E colui che somministra la semente al seminatore e il pane per il nutrimento, somministrerà e moltiplicherà a voi la semente e farà crescere i frutti della vostra giustizia.
11 So then, having been enriched in all things, you may abound in all simplicity, which works thanksgiving to God through us.	11 Allora sarete ricchi per ogni largizione, e questa farà salire a Dio l'inno del ringraziamento per merito vostro.
12 For the ministration of this office not only supplies whatever the saints need, but also abounds through many thanksgivings in the Lord.	12 Giacché il servizio di questa prestazione sacra non solo sovviene alla necessità dei santi, ma sarà fecondo di molti ringraziamenti a Dio.
13 And so, through the evidence of this ministry, you glorify God by the obedience of your confession in the Gospel of Christ, and by the simplicity of your communion with them and with everyone,	13 Per la bella prova di questo servizio essi ringrazieranno Dio per la vostra ubbidienza e accettazione del vangelo di Cristo, e per la generosità della vostra comunione con loro e con tutti;
14 and they offer prayers for you, being solicitous about you, because of the excellent grace of God within you.	14 e pregando in vostro favore proveranno affetto per voi, a motivo della straordinaria grazia di Dio effusa su di voi.
15 Thanks be to God for his ineffable gift.	15 Grazie a Dio per questo suo ineffabile dono!
