Leviticus 6

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 The soul who will have sinned, and, despising the Lord, will have denied to his neighbor the deposit which he had entrusted to his safekeeping, or who will have extorted anything by force, or who will have made a false accusation,	2 « Chi ha peccato e, disprezzando il Signore, ha negato al suo prossimo il deposito confidato alla sua onestà, o ha estorto con violenza qualche cosa, o frodato,
3 or who will have found a lost thing and then also withheld it by swearing falsely, or who will have done any other of the many things by which men usually sin:	3 o, trovata una cosa perduta, la nega con la giunta del giuramento, o avrà fatta qualche altra di quelle cose nelle quali sogliono gli uomini peccare,
4 being convicted of the offense, he shall restore	4 convinto del delitto,
5 all that he wanted to obtain by fraud, the whole plus an additional fifth part, to the owner against whom he brought the damage.	5 restituirà per intero al padrone a cui ha fatto il danno tutto quello che ha preso con frode e un quinto di più;
6 Then, on behalf of his sin, he shall offer an immaculate ram from the flock, and he shall give it to the priest, according to the estimation and measure of the offense.	6 inoltre offrirà pel suo peccato un ariete senza macchia preso dal gregge, secondo l'estimazione e la misura del delitto, e lo darà al sacerdote,
7 And he shall pray for him in the sight of the Lord, and he shall be released from any one of those things that he did when he sinned.	7 il quale pregherà per lui dinanzi al Signore, e cosi gli sarà perdonata qualunque cosa egli, peccando, abbia fatta ».
8 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	8 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
9 Instruct Aaron and his sons: This is the law of a holocaust. It shall be burned upon the altar, all night until morning. The fire shall be from the same altar.	9 « Dà quest'ordine ad Aronne e ai suoi figli e di' loro: Questa è la legge dell'olocausto: esso brucerà sull'altare tutta la notte fino al mattino, e il fuoco sarà preso dall'altare stesso.
10 The priest shall be vested with the tunic and the linen undergarments. And he shall take up the ashes of that which the devouring fire has consumed, and, placing them next to the altar,	10 Il sacerdote, indossata la tunica e i calzoni di lino, caverà le ceneri in cui il fuoco divoratore ha ridotto l'olocausto, e messele accanto all'altare,
11 he shall strip off his former vestments, and being clothed with others, he shall carry them beyond the camp, and he shall cause them to be consumed, even to glowing embers, in a very clean place.	11 si spoglierà delle prime vesti, e, indossatene altre, porterà le ceneri fuori del campo, procurando che si consumino fino all'ultima favilla in luogo mondissimo.
12 But the fire on the altar shall burn always, for the priest shall nourish it by placing wood under it each day in the morning. And, laying down the holocaust, he shall burn the fat of the peace offerings upon it.	12 Il fuoco arderà semprò sopra l'altare, e il sacerdote lo manterrà, ponendo ogni giorno al mattino delle legna sulle quali poserà l'olocausto e brucerà il grasso delle ostie pacifiche.
13 This is the perpetual fire which shall never fail upon the altar.	13 Questo è il fuoco perpetuo che non mancherà mai sull'altare.
14 This is the law of the sacrifice and the libations, which the sons of Aaron shall offer in the sight of the Lord, and before the altar.	14 Questa è la legge del sacrifizio e delle libazioni che i figli d'Aronne offriranno dinanzi al Signore e dinanzi all'altare.
15 The priest shall take a handful of fine wheat flour, which has been sprinkled with oil, and all the frankincense, which has been placed upon the flour, and he shall burn it upon the altar as a memorial of most sweet odor to the Lord.	15 Il sacerdote, preso un pugno di fior di farina intrisa con olio e tutto l'incenso che v'è sopra, brucerà il tutto sull'altare in memoria di odore soavissimo al Signore:
16 And the remaining portion of the flour, Aaron shall eat with his sons, without leaven. And he shall eat it in the holy place, in the atrium of the tabernacle.	16 la farina che rimane la mangerà Aronne coi suoi figli, la mangerà senza lievito, nel luogo santo, nell'atrio del Tabernacolo.
17 Yet for this reason, it shall not be leavened, because part of it is offered as an incense of the Lord. The Holy of holies shall it be, just as what is offered on behalf of sin and of transgression.	17 Questa, farina, non deve fermentare, perche parte di essa è offerta in olocausto al Signore; e deve essere cosa sacrosanta, come l'offerta per il peccato e per il delitto:
18 Only the males of the stock of Aaron shall eat it. This shall be an everlasting ordinance in your generations concerning the sacrifices of the Lord. All who will touch these shall be sanctified.	18 me mangeranno soltanto i maschi della stirpe di Aronne. Questa sarà una legge eterna per i sacrifizi del Signore in tutte le vostre generazioni: chiunque toccherà queste cose sarà santificato ».
19 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	19 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
20 This is the oblation of Aaron and of his sons, which they must offer to the Lord in the day of their anointing. They shall offer a tenth part of an ephah of fine wheat flour as a perpetual sacrifice, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening.	20 Questa, è l'oblazioue che Aronne e i suoi figli devono fare al Signore nel giorno della, loro unzione. Offriranno in sacrifizio sempiterno la decima parte di un efi di fior di farina: una metà al mattino e l'altra metà alla, sera.
21 It shall be sprinkled with oil and fried in a frying pan. Then it shall be offered hot, as a most sweet odor to the Lord,	21 Tal farina, mescolata con olio, sarà fritta nella padella, offerta calda, in odore soavissimo al Signore,
22 by the priest who by law succeeds his father. And it shall be entirely burned on the altar.	22 dal sacerdote che sarà legittimamente succeduto a suo padre, e brucerà tutto sull'altare,
23 For every sacrifice of the priest shall be consumed by fire; neither shall anyone eat from it.	23 perchè ogni sacrifizio dei sacerdoti dovrà esser consumato nel fuoco e nessuno potrà mangiarne ».
24 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	24 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
25 Say to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the victim for sin. In the place where the holocaust is offered, it shall be immolated in the sight of the Lord. It is the Holy of holies.	25 « Di' ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: Questa è la legge dell'ostia per il peccato: essa verrà immolata davanti al Signore, nel luogo dove si offre l'olocausto. Essendo cosa sacrosanta,
26 The priest who offers it shall eat it in the holy place, in the atrium of the tabernacle.	26 il sacerdote che la offre la mungerà, nel luogo santo, nell'atrio del Tabernacolo,
27 Whatever will touch its flesh shall be sanctified. If a garment will be sprinkled with its blood, it shall be washed in a holy place.	27 e tutto quello che toccherà la carne di essa sarà santificato. Se del sangue di essa ne schizza sopra una veste, questa sarà lavata nel luogo santo.
28 Then the earthen vessel, in which it was soaked, shall be broken. But if the vessel will be of brass, it shall be scoured and washed with water.	28 Il vaso in cui è stata cotta, se di terra, sarà spezzato, se di rame, sarà strofinato bene e risciacquato.
29 Every male of priestly descent shall feed on its flesh, because it is the Holy of holies.	29 Ogni maschio di stirpe sacerdotale mangerà delle carni di essa, perchè è cosa sacrosanta.
30 For the victim that is slain for sin, whose blood is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony, for expiation in the Sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but it shall be consumed by fire.	30 Però l'ostia immolata per il peccato, il sangue della quale vien portato nel Tabernacolo della, testimonianza per fare l'espiazione del santuario, non sarà mangiata, ma verrà consumata nel fuoco.
