1 To David, when he changed his appearance in the sight of Abimelech, and so he dismissed him, and he went away.	1 Esultate, o giusti, nel Signore;per gli uomini retti è bella la lode.
2 I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will be ever in my mouth.	2 Lodate il Signore con la cetra,con l’arpa a dieci corde a lui cantate.
3 In the Lord, my soul will be praised. May the meek listen and rejoice.	3 Cantate al Signore un canto nuovo,con arte suonate la cetra e acclamate,
4 Magnify the Lord with me, and let us extol his name in itself.	4 perché retta è la parola del Signoree fedele ogni sua opera.
5 I sought the Lord, and he heeded me, and he carried me away from all my tribulations.	5 Egli ama la giustizia e il diritto;dell’amore del Signore è piena la terra.
6 Approach him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be confounded.	6 Dalla parola del Signore furono fatti i cieli,dal soffio della sua bocca ogni loro schiera.
7 This poor one cried out, and the Lord heeded him, and he saved him from all his tribulations.	7 Come in un otre raccoglie le acque del mare,chiude in riserve gli abissi.
8 The Angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear him, and he will rescue them.	8 Tema il Signore tutta la terra,tremino davanti a lui gli abitanti del mondo,
9 Taste and see that the Lord is sweet. Blessed is the man who hopes in him.	9 perché egli parlò e tutto fu creato,comandò e tutto fu compiuto.
10 Fear the Lord, all you his saints. For there is no destitution for those who fear him.	10 Il Signore annulla i disegni delle nazioni,rende vani i progetti dei popoli.
11 The rich have been needy and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good thing.	11 Ma il disegno del Signore sussiste per sempre,i progetti del suo cuore per tutte le generazioni.
12 Come forward, sons. Listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.	12 Beata la nazione che ha il Signore come Dio,il popolo che egli ha scelto come sua eredità.
13 Which is the man who wills life, who chooses to see good days?	13 Il Signore guarda dal cielo:egli vede tutti gli uomini;
14 Prohibit your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.	14 dal trono dove siedescruta tutti gli abitanti della terra,
15 Turn away from evil, and do good. Inquire about peace, and pursue it.	15 lui, che di ognuno ha plasmato il cuoree ne comprende tutte le opere.
16 The eyes of the Lord are on the just, and his ears are with their prayers.	16 Il re non si salva per un grande esercitoné un prode scampa per il suo grande vigore.
17 But the countenance of the Lord is upon those who do evil, to perish the remembrance of them from the earth.	17 Un’illusione è il cavallo per la vittoria,e neppure un grande esercito può dare salvezza.
18 The just cried out, and the Lord heard them, and he freed them from all their tribulations.	18 Ecco, l’occhio del Signore è su chi lo teme,su chi spera nel suo amore,
19 The Lord is near to those who are troubled in heart, and he will save the humble in spirit.	19 per liberarlo dalla mortee nutrirlo in tempo di fame.
20 Many are the afflictions of the just, but from them all the Lord will free them.	20 L’anima nostra attende il Signore:egli è nostro aiuto e nostro scudo.
21 The Lord preserves all of their bones, not one of them shall be broken.	21 È in lui che gioisce il nostro cuore,nel suo santo nome noi confidiamo.
22 The death of a sinner is very harmful, and those who hate the just will fare badly.	22 Su di noi sia il tuo amore, Signore,come da te noi speriamo.
23 The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants, and none of those who hope in him will fare badly.
