1 This is the list of the tribes. Dan: at the northern extremity, adjoining Hamath, all along from the approaches to Hethlon through Labo of Hamath to Hazar-enon, on the northerly border with Damascus, with his possession reaching from the eastern to the western boundary.	1 Das sind die Namen der Stämme: Im Norden, entlang dem Weg von Hetlon nach Lebo-Hamat und nach Hazar- Enan - das Gebiet von Damaskus liegt dabei nördlich, seitlich von Hamat - gehört von Osten nach Westen Dan ein Anteil.
2 Asher: on the frontier of Dan, from the eastern to the western boundary.	2 Neben dem Gebiet Dans von Osten nach Westen Ascher - ein Anteil;
3 Naphtali: on the frontier of Asher, from the eastern to the western boundary.	3 neben dem Gebiet Aschers von Osten nach Westen Naftali - ein Anteil;

8 On the frontier of Judah, from the eastern to the western boundary there shall be the tract which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits from north to south, and as wide as one of the tribal portions from the eastern to the western boundary. In the center of the tract shall be the sanctuary.	8 Neben dem Gebiet Judas liegt von Osten nach Westen das Land, das ihr (dem Herrn) als Abgabe entrichten sollt, 25000 Ellen breit und genauso lang wie jeder andere Anteil von Osten nach Westen. In der Mitte dieses Stückes liegt das Heiligtum.
9 The tract that you set aside for the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across by twenty thousand north and south.	9 Das Land, das ihr dem Herrn als Abgabe entrichtet, hat eine Länge von 25000 Ellen und eine Breite von 20000 Ellen.
10 In this sacred tract the priests shall have twenty-five thousand cubits on the north, ten thousand on the west, ten thousand on the east, and twenty-five thousand on the south; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its center.	10 Die heilige Abgabe soll wie folgt eingeteilt werden: Den Priestern soll ein Stück gehören, das im Norden 25000 Ellen lang ist, im Westen und im Osten 10000 Ellen breit und im Süden auch 25000 Ellen lang. Das Heiligtum des Herrn soll in der Mitte liegen.
11 The consecrated priests, the Zadokites, who fulfilled my service and did not stray along with the Israelites as the Levites did,	11 Den geweihten Priestern aus den Nachkommen Zadoks, die ihren Dienst verrichtet und mich nicht verlassen haben, als die Israeliten ebenso in die Irre gingen wie die Leviten,
12 shall have within this tract of land their own most sacred domain, next to the territory of the Levites.	12 ihnen soll als Abgabe ein Stück von dem Land gehören, das ihr (dem Herrn) als Abgabe entrichtet habt; dieses Stück ist hochheilig und liegt neben dem Gebiet der Leviten.
13 The Levites shall have a territory corresponding to that of the priests, twenty-five thousand cubits by ten thousand. The whole tract shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across and twenty thousand north and south.	13 Den Leviten soll wie den Priestern ein Gebiet von 25000 Ellen Länge und 10000 Ellen Breite gehören. Das Ganze hat also eine Länge von 25000 Ellen und eine Breite von 20000 Ellen.
14 They may not sell or exchange or alienate this, the best part of the land, for it is sacred to the LORD.	14 Man darf nichts davon verkaufen oder zum Tausch anbieten, noch darf man dieses beste Stück des Landes auf andere übertragen; denn es ist dem Herrn heilig.
15 The remaining five thousand cubits along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line are profane land, assigned to the City for dwellings and pasture; the City shall be at their center.	15 Die 5000 Ellen, die längs der 25000 Ellen in der Breite noch übrig bleiben, sind nicht heilig, sondern gehören der Stadt als Wohngebiet und Weidefläche. Die Stadt soll mitten darin liegen.
16 These are the dimensions of the City: the north side, forty-five hundred cubits; the south side, forty-five hundred cubits; the east side, forty-five hundred cubits; and the west side, forty-five hundred cubits.	16 Ihre Maße sollen im Norden 4500 Ellen und im Süden 4500 Ellen betragen, ebenso 4500 Ellen im Osten und 4500 Ellen im Westen.
17 The pasture lands of the City shall extend north two hundred and fifty cubits, south two hundred and fifty cubits, east two hundred and fifty cubits, and west two hundred and fifty cubits.	17 Die Weidefläche der Stadt erstreckt sich 250 Ellen nach Norden, 250 Ellen nach Süden, 250 Ellen nach Osten und 250 Ellen nach Westen.
18 There shall remain an area along the sacred tract, ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west, whose produce shall provide food for the workers of the City.	18 Was dann der Länge nach noch übrig ist längs der heiligen Abgabe - 10000 Ellen nach Osten und 10000 Ellen nach Westen [es liegt längs der heiligen Abgabe] -, von dessen Erträgen sollen sich die Arbeiter der Stadt ernähren.
19 The workers in the City shall be taken from all the tribes of Israel.	19 Die Arbeiter der Stadt, die dieses Stück bebauen, sollen aus allen Stämmen Israels sein.
20 The entire tract shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand cubits; as a perfect square you shall set apart the sacred tract together with the City property.	20 Die ganze Abgabe soll 25000 mal 25000 Ellen betragen. Dieses ganze Quadrat einschließlich des Eigentums der Stadt sollt ihr als heilige Abgabe entrichten.
21 The remainder shall belong to the prince: the land on both sides of the sacred tract and the City property, extending along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line eastward to the eastern boundary, and westward along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line to the western boundary, a territory parallel with the tribal portions for the prince. The sacred tract and the sanctuary of the temple shall be in the middle.	21 Was zu beiden Seiten der heiligen Abgabe und des Besitzes der Stadt übrig bleibt, von den 25000 Ellen der (Ostseite der ganzen) Abgabe bis zur Ostgrenze (des Landes) und von den 25000 Ellen der Westseite (der Abgabe) bis zur Westgrenze (des Landes), diese (beiden) Stücke entlang den Stammesanteilen sollen dem Fürsten gehören. Die heilige Abgabe und das Tempelheiligtum liegen mitten darin.
22 Thus, except for the property of the Levites and the City property, which lie in the midst of the prince's property, the territory between the portions of Judah and of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.	22 Der Besitz der Leviten und der Besitz der Stadt soll mitten in dem Gebiet liegen, das dem Fürsten gehört, und das Gebiet des Fürsten liegt zwischen dem Gebiet Judas und dem Gebiet Benjamins.

28 Along the frontier of Gad shall be the southern boundary, which shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, and from there to the Wadi of Egypt, and on to the Great Sea.	28 Neben dem Gebiet Gads verläuft im Negeb die Südgrenze; sie führt von Tamar zu den Quellen von Meribat-Kadesch und zu dem Bach, der ins große Meer fließt.
29 Such is the land which you shall apportion as inheritances among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says the Lord GOD.	29 Das ist das Land, das ihr als Erbbesitz an die Stämme Israels verlosen sollt, und das sind ihre Anteile - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
30 These are the exits of the City, the gates of which are named after the tribes of Israel. On the north side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits,	30 Das sind die Ausgänge der Stadt. Die Stadttore sind nach den Stämmen Israels benannt:
31 there shall be three gates: the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi.	31 auf der Nordseite, die 4500 Ellen misst, drei Tore: ein Tor ist nach Ruben benannt, ein Tor nach Juda und ein Tor nach Levi;
32 On the east side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan.	32 auf der Ostseite, die 4500 Ellen misst, drei Tore: ein Tor nach Josef, ein Tor nach Benjamin und ein Tor nach Dan;
33 On the south side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.	33 auf der Südseite, die 4500 Ellen misst, drei Tore: ein Tor nach Simeon, ein Tor nach Issachar und ein Tor nach Sebulon;
34 On the west side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naphtali.	34 auf der Westseite, die 4500 Ellen misst, drei Tore: ein Tor nach Gad, ein Tor nach Ascher und ein Tor nach Naftali.
35 The perimeter of the City is eighteen thousand cubits. The name of the City shall henceforth be "The LORD is here."	35 Der Umfang der Stadt beträgt 18000 Ellen. Und der Name der Stadt soll von heute an sein: Hier ist der Herr.
