1 The sons of Issachar were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron: four.	1 For the sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, Shimron: four.
2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, warrior heads of the ancestral houses of Tola. 11 All these were descendants of Jediael, heads of ancestral houses and warriors. They numbered seventeen thousand two hundred men fit for military service. . . 12 The sons of Dan: Hushim.	12 Shuppim and Huppim. Son of Ir: Hushim; his son: Aher.
13 The sons of Naphtali were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum. These were descendants of Bilhah.	13 Sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, Shal um. These were the sons of Bilhah.
14 The sons of Manasseh, whom his Aramean concubine bore: she bore Machir, the father of Gilead.	14 Sons of Manasseh: Asriel, born of his Aramaean concubine. She gave birth to Machir, father ofGilead.
15 Machir took a wife whose name was Maacah; his sister's name was Molecheth. Manasseh's second son was named Zelophehad, but to Zelophehad only daughters were born.	15 Machir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim. His sister's name was Maacah. The name of the secondson was Zelophehad. Zelophehad had daughters.
16 Maacah, Machir's wife, bore a son whom she named Peresh. He had a brother named Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.	16 Maacah the wife of Machir gave birth to a son whom she cal ed Peresh. His brother was cal edSheresh and his sons Ulam and Rakem.

29 Manasseh, however, had possession of Beth-shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, and Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the descendants of Joseph, the son of Israel.	29 Beth-Shean with its dependencies, Taanach and its dependencies, Megiddo and its dependenciesand Dor with its dependencies were in the hands of the sons of Manasseh. There lived the sons of Joseph sonof Israel.
30 The sons of Asher were Imnah, Iishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah; their sister was Serah.	30 Sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah; their sister Serah.

Their family records numbered twenty-six thousand men fit for military service.	40 Al these were the sons of Asher, heads of families, picked men, warriors and senior princes. Theywere registered in fighting companies to the number of twenty-six thousand men.
