1 שיר המעלות אשרי כל ירא יהוה ההלך בדרכיו	1 [Song of Ascents] How blessed are al who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways!
2 יגיע כפיך כי תאכל אשריך וטוב לך	2 Your own labours wil yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.
3 אשתך כגפן פריה בירכתי ביתך בניך כשתלי זיתים סביב לשלחנך	3 Your wife a fruitful vine in the inner places of your house. Your children round your table like shootsof an olive tree.
4 הנה כי כן יברך גבר ירא יהוה	4 Such are the blessings that fal on those who fear Yahweh.
5 יברכך יהוה מציון וראה בטוב ירושלם כל ימי חייך	5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper al the days of your life,
6 וראה בנים לבניך שלום על ישראל	6 and live to see your children's children! Peace to Israel!
