1 Και εν τω δωδεκατω ετει, τω δωδεκατω μηνι, τη πρωτη του μηνος, εγεινε λογος Κυριου προς εμε, λεγων,	1 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 Υιε ανθρωπου, αναλαβε θρηνον επι τον Φαραω βασιλεα της Αιγυπτου και ειπε προς αυτον, Ωμοιωθης με σκυμνον λεοντος μεταξυ των εθνων και εισαι ως δρακων εν ταις θαλασσαις? και εφωρμησας εις τους ποταμους σου και εταραττες τα υδατα με τους ποδας σου και κατεπατεις τους ποταμους αυτων.	2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him: You are like the lion of the Gentiles, and like the dragon that is in the sea. And you brandished a horn among your rivers, and you disturbed the waters with your feet, and you trampled upon their rivers.
3 Ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος? δια τουτο θελω εξαπλωσει το δικτυον μου επι σε με αθροισμα πολλων λαων, και θελουσι σε ανασυρει εν τη σαγηνη μου.	3 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: I will spread my net over you, with the multitude of many peoples, and I will draw you into my dragnet.
4 Και θελω σε εγκαταλειψει εν τη γη, θελω σε εκριψει επι το προσωπον της πεδιαδος, και θελω επικαθισει επι σε παντα τα πετεινα του ουρανου και χορτασει απο σου τα θηρια πασης της γης.	4 And I will throw you upon the land. I will cast you upon the surface of the field. And I will cause all the birds of the air to live upon you. And I will satiate the beasts of the entire earth with you.
5 Και θελω εκθεσει τας σαρκας σου επι τα ορη, και εμπλησει τας κοιλαδας απο των σωρων του πτωματος σου.	5 And I will place your flesh upon the mountains. And I will fill up your hills with your decaying flesh.
6 Και την γην, οπου πλεεις, θελω ποτισει με το αιμα σου εως των ορεων? και οι ποταμοι θελουσιν εμπλησθη απο σου.	6 And I will irrigate the earth with your rotting blood upon the mountains. And the valleys will be filled with you.
7 Και οταν σε αποσβεσω, θελω περικαλυψει τον ουρανον και συσκοτασει τους αστερας αυτου? θελω περικαλυψει εν νεφελη τον ηλιον και σεληνη δεν θελει φεγγει το φως αυτης.	7 And I will cover heaven, when you will have been extinguished. And I will cause its stars to grow dark. I will shroud the sun with gloom, and the moon will not give her light.
8 Παντας τους λαμπρους φωστηρας του ουρανου θελω συσκοτασει επι σε, και θελω επιβαλει σκοτος επι την γην σου, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.	8 I will cause all the lights of heaven to grieve over you. And I will bring darkness upon your land, says the Lord God, when your wounded will have fallen in the midst of the land, says the Lord God.
9 Και θελω καμει να φριξη η καρδια πολλων λαων, οταν φερω τον συντριμμον σου μεταξυ των εθνων, εις τοπους τους οποιους δεν εγνωρισας.	9 And I will provoke the heart of many peoples to anger, when I will have led in your destruction among the Gentiles, over the lands that you have not known.
10 Και θελω καμει πολλους λαους να εκπλαγωσι δια σε και οι βασιλεις αυτων θελουσι φριξει σφοδρα δια σε, οταν διασεισω την ρομφαιαν μου ενωπιον αυτων? και θελουσι τρεμει κατα πασαν στιγμην, εκαστος δια την ζωην αυτου, εν τη ημερα της πτωσεως σου.	10 And I will cause many peoples to be stupefied over you. And their kings will be afraid, with great horror, over you, when my sword will begin to fly above their faces. And suddenly, they will be struck with astonishment, each one concerning his own life, on the day of their ruination.
11 Διοτι ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος? Η ρομφαια του βασιλεως της Βαβυλωνος θελει ελθει επι σε.	11 For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon will come to you.
12 Εν μαχαιραις ισχυρων θελω καταβαλει το πληθος σου? παντες ουτοι ειναι οι τρομερωτεροι των εθνων? και θελουσι πορθησει την επαρσιν της Αιγυπτου και απαν το πληθος αυτης θελει καταστραφη.	12 By the swords of the strong, I will cast down your multitude. All these nations are invincible, and they will lay waste to the arrogance of Egypt, and so its multitude will be destroyed.
13 Και θελω εξαφανισει παντα τα κτηνη αυτης απο πλησιον υδατων πολλων, και δεν θελει πλεον ταραξει αυτα πους ανθρωπου και ιχνος κτηνους δεν θελει ταραξει αυτα.	13 And I will perish all its cattle, which were above the many waters. And the foot of man will no longer disturb them, and the hoof of cattle will no longer trouble them.
14 Τοτε θελω ησυχασει τα υδατα αυτων και καμει τους ποταμους αυτων να ρεωσιν ως ελαιον, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.	14 Then I will cause their waters to be very pure, and their rivers to be like oil, says the Lord God,
15 Οταν καμω την γην της Αιγυπτου θαμβος, και ερημωθη η γη απο του πληρωματος αυτης, οταν παταξω παντας τους κατοικουντας εν αυτη, τοτε θελουσι γνωρισει οτι εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος.	15 when I will have set the land of Egypt in desolation. And the land will be deprived of her plenitude, when I will have struck all its inhabitants. And they shall know that I am the Lord.
16 Ουτος ειναι ο θρηνος, με τον οποιον θελουσι θρηνησει αυτην? αι θυγατερες των εθνων θελουσι θρηνησει αυτην? θελουσι θρηνησει δια την Αιγυπτον και δι' απαν το πληθος αυτης, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.	16 This is the lamentation. And they shall lament it. The daughters of the Gentiles shall lament it. They shall lament it over Egypt and over its multitude, says the Lord God.”
17 Και εν τω δωδεκατω ετει τη δεκατη πεμπτη του μηνος, εγεινε λογος Κυριου προς εμε, λεγων,	17 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying:
18 Υιε ανθρωπου, θρηνησον δια το πληθος της Αιγυπτου και καταβιβασον αυτους, αυτην και τας θυγατερας των ισχυρων εθνων, εις τα κατωτατα της γης, μετα των καταβαινοντων εις λακκον.	18 “Son of man, sing mournfully over the multitude of Egypt. And cast her down, both her and the daughters of the robust nations, to the lowest part of the earth, with those who descend into the pit.
19 Τινος εισαι ωραιοτερα; καταβηθι και κοιτου μετα των απεριτμητων.	19 Whom do you exceed in beauty? Descend and sleep with the uncircumcised!
20 Θελουσι πεσει εν μεσω των τεθανατωμενων εν μαχαιρα? εις την μαχαιραν παρεδοθη αυτη? συρετε αυτην και παντα τα πληθη αυτης.	20 They will fall by the sword in the midst of the slain. The sword has been given. They have dragged her down, with all her people.
21 Οι ισχυροτεροι μεταξυ των δυνατων θελουσι λαλησει προς αυτον εκ μεσου του αδου μετα των βοηθουντων αυτον? κατεβησαν, κοιτονται απεριτμητοι, τεθανατωμενοι εν μαχαιρα.	21 The most powerful among the strong will speak to him from the midst of hell, those who descended with his helpers and who went to sleep uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
22 Εκει ειναι ο Ασσουρ και απαν το αθροισμα αυτου? οι ταφοι αυτου ειναι κυκλω αυτου? παντες ουτοι τεθανατωμενοι, πεπτωκοτες εν μαχαιρα.	22 Assur is in that place, with all his multitude. Their graves are all around him: all of the slain and those who fell by the sword.
23 Διοτι οι ταφοι αυτου ειναι τεθειμενοι εις τα βαθη του λακκου και το αθροισμα αυτου κυκλω του ταφου αυτου? παντες ουτοι τεθανατωμενοι, πεπτωκοτες εν μαχαιρα, οιτινες διεδιδον τρομον εις την γην των ζωντων.	23 Their graves have been placed in the lowest parts of the pit. And his multitude was stationed on all sides of his grave: all of the slain, and those who fell by the sword, who formerly spread terror in the land of the living.
24 Εκει ειναι ο Ελαμ και απαν το πληθος αυτου κυκλω του ταφου αυτου? παντες ουτοι τεθανατωμενοι, πεπτωκοτες εν μαχαιρα, καταβαντες απεριτμητοι εις τα κατωτατα της γης, οιτινες διεδιδον τον τρομον αυτων εις την γην των ζωντων? και ελαβον την καταισχυνην αυτων μετα των καταβαινοντων εις λακκον.	24 Elam is in that place, with all his multitude, on all sides of his grave, all those who were slain or who fell by the sword, who descended uncircumcised to the lowest part of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.
25 Εθεσαν εις αυτον κλινην μετα παντος του πληθους αυτου εν μεσω των τεθανατωμενων? οι ταφοι αυτου ειναι κυκλω αυτου? παντες ουτοι απεριτμητοι, τεθανατωμενοι εν μαχαιρα, αν και διεδοθη ο τρομος αυτων εις την γην των ζωντων? και ελαβον την καταισχυνην αυτων μετα των καταβαινοντων εις λακκον? ετεθη εν μεσω των τεθανατωμενων.	25 They have appointed him a place to lie among all his people, in the midst of the slain. Their graves are all around him. All these are uncircumcised and were slain by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living, and they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit. They have been stationed in the midst of the slain.
26 Εκει ειναι ο Μεσεχ, ο Θουβαλ και απαν το πληθος αυτου? οι ταφοι αυτου ειναι κυκλω αυτου? παντες ουτοι απεριτμητοι, τεθανατωμενοι εν μαχαιρα, αν και διεδωκαν τον τρομον αυτων εις την γην των ζωντων.	26 Meshech and Tubal are in that place, with all their multitude. Their graves are all around him: all these are uncircumcised, and they were slain and fell by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living.
27 Πλην δεν κοιτονται μετα των πεσοντων ισχυρων εκ των απεριτμητων, οιτινες κατεβησαν εις τον αδην μετα των πολεμικων αυτων οπλων? και εθεσαν τας μαχαιρας αυτων υπο τας κεφαλας αυτων? αλλ' αι ανομιαι αυτων θελουσιν εισθαι επι τα οστα αυτων, αν και ησαν τρομος των ισχυρων εν τη γη των ζωντων.	27 But they shall not sleep with the strong, and with those who also fell uncircumcised, who descended to hell with their weapons, and who placed their swords under their heads, while their iniquities were in their bones. For they were the terror of the strong in the land of the living.
28 Ναι, συ θελεις συντριφθη εν μεσω των απεριτμητων, και θελεις κοιτεσθαι μετα των τεθανατωμενων εν μαχαιρα.	28 Therefore, you also will be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and you will sleep with those who were slain by the sword.
29 Εκει ειναι ο Εδωμ, οι βασιλεις αυτου και παντες οι ηγεμονες αυτου, οιτινες μετα της δυναμεως αυτων ετεθησαν μεταξυ των τεθανατωμενων εν μαχαιρα? ουτοι θελουσι κοιτεσθαι μετα των απεριτμητων και μετα των καταβαινοντων εις λακκον.	29 Idumea is in that place, with her kings and all her commanders, who with their army have been given to those who were slain by the sword. And they have slept with the uncircumcised and with those who descend into the pit.
30 Εκει ειναι οι ηγεμονες του βορρα, παντες ουτοι, και παντες οι Σιδωνιοι, οιτινες κατεβησαν μετα των τεθανατωμενων, εν τω τρομω αυτων, κατησχυμμενοι εν τη δυναμει αυτων? και κοιτονται απεριτμητοι μετα των τεθανατωμενων εν μαχαιρα, και ελαβον την καταισχυνην αυτων μετα των καταβαινοντων εις λακκον.	30 All the leaders of the north are in that place, with all the hunters, who were brought down with the slain, fearful and confounded in their strength, who have gone to sleep uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.
31 Ο Φαραω θελει ιδει αυτους και παρηγορηθη δι' απαν το πληθος αυτου, ο Φαραω και απαν το στρατευμα αυτου, οι τεθανατωμενοι εν μαχαιρα, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.	31 Pharaoh saw them, and he was consoled over all his multitude, which was slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his army, says the Lord God.
32 Διοτι εδωκα τον τρομον μου εις την γην των ζωντων? και θελει κοιτεσθαι εν μεσω των απεριτμητων μετα των τεθανατωμενων εν μαχαιρα? ο Φαραω και απαν το πληθος αυτου, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος.	32 For I have spread my terror in the land of the living, and he has gone to sleep in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God.”
