DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 And I commend to you Phebe, our sister, who is in the ministry of the church, that is in Cenchrae:	1 Les recomiendo a nuestra hermana Febe, diaconisa de la Iglesia de Cencreas,
2 That you receive her in the Lord as becometh saints; and that you assist her in whatsoever business she shall have need of you. For she also hath assisted many, and myself also.	2 para que la reciban en el Señor, como corresponde a los santos, ayudándola en todo lo que necesite de ustedes: ella ha protegido a muchos hermanos y también a mí.
3 Salute Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus,	3 Saluden a Priscila y a Aquila, mis colaboradores en Cristo Jesús.
4 (Who have for my life laid down their own necks: to whom not I only give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles,)	4 Ellos arriesgaron su vida para salvarme, y no sólo yo, sino también todas las iglesias de origen pagano, tienen con ellos una deuda de gratitud.
5 And the church which is in their house. Salute Epenetus, my beloved: who is the firstfruits of Asia in Christ.	5 Saluden, igualmente, a la Iglesia que se reúne en su casa. No se olviden de saludar a mi amigo Epéneto, el primero que se convirtió a Cristo en Asia Menor.
6 Salute Mary, who hath laboured much among you.	6 Saluden a María, que tanto ha trabajado por ustedes;
7 Salute Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow prisoners: who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.	7 a Andrónico y a Junia, mis parientes y compañeros de cárcel, que son apóstoles insignes y creyeron en Cristo antes que yo.
8 Salute Ampliatus, most beloved to me in the Lord.	8 Saluden a Ampliato, mi amigo querido en el Señor;

11 Salute them that are of Aristobulus' household. Salute Herodian, my kinsman. Salute them that are of Narcissus' household, who are in the Lord.	11 Saluden a mi pariente Herodión, y a los de la familia de Narciso que creen en Cristo.
12 Salute Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute Persis, the dearly beloved, who hath much laboured in the Lord.	12 Saluden a Trifena y a Trifosa, que tanto se esfuerzan por el Señor; a la querida Persis, que también ha trabajado mucho por el Señor.
13 Salute Rufus, elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.	13 Saluden a Rufo, el elegido del Señor, y a su madre, que lo es también mía;
14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren that are with them.	14 a Asíncrito, a Flegonte, a Hermes, a Patrobas, a Hermas y a los hermanos que están con ellos.
15 Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympias; and all the saints that are with them.	15 Saluden a Filólogo y a Julia, a Nereo y a su hermana, así como también a Olimpia, y a todos los santos que viven con ellos.
16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. All the churches of Christ salute you.	16 Salúdense mutuamente con el beso de paz. Todas las Iglesias de Cristo les envían saludos.
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.	17 Les fuego, hermanos, que se cuiden de los que provocan disensiones y escándalos, contrariamente a la enseñanza que ustedes han recibido. Eviten su trato,
18 For they that are such, serve not Christ our Lord, but their own belly; and by pleasing speeches and good words, seduce the hearts of the innocent.	18 porque ellos no sirven a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, sino a su propio interés, seduciendo a los simples con palabras suaves y aduladoras.
19 For your obedience is published in every place. I rejoice therefore in you. But I would have you to be wise in good, and simple in evil.	19 En todas partes se conoce la obediencia de ustedes, y esto me alegra; pero quiero que sean hábiles para el bien y sencillos para el mal.
20 And the God of peace crush Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.	20 El Dios de la paz aplastará muy pronto a Satanás, dándoles la victoria sobre él. La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo esté con ustedes.
21 Timothy, my fellow labourer, saluteth you, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen.	21 Timoteo, mi colaborador, les envía saludos, así como también mis parientes Lucio, Jasón y Sosípatro.
22 I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.	22 Yo, Tercio, que he servido de amanuense, los saludo en el Señor.
23 Caius, my host, and the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, saluteth you, and Quartus, a brother.	23 También los saluda Gayo, que me brinda hospedaje a mí y a toda la Iglesia. Finalmente, les envían saludos Erasto, el tesorero de la ciudad y nuestro hermano Cuarto.
24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.	24 [La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo esté con todos ustedes. Amén.]
25 Now to him that is able to establish you, according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret from eternity,	25 ¡Gloria a Dios, que tiene el poder de afianzarlos, según la Buena Noticia que yo anuncio, proclamando a Jesucristo, y revelando un misterio que fue guardado en secreto desde la eternidad
26 (Which now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the precept of the eternal God, for the obedience of faith,) known among all nations;	26 y que ahora se ha manifestado! Este es el misterio que, por medio de los escritos proféticos y según el designio del Dios eterno, fue dado a conocer a todas las naciones para llevarlas a la obediencia de la fe.
27 To God the only wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.	27 ¡A Dios, el único sabio, por Jesucristo, sea la gloria eternamente! Amén.
