1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.	1 Al maestro di coro. Di Davide. In memoria.
2 O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.	2 Salvami, o Dio, affréttati, o Signore, alla mia difesa.
3 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:	3 Siano confusi, coperti di vergogna quanti cercano l'anima mia; indietreggino disfatti quanti desiderano la mia rovina.
4 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.	4 Tornino indietro per la loro ignominia coloro che dicono verso di me: "Ah! Ah!".
5 Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.	5 Si rallegrino e gioiscano in te quelli che ti cercano, e quanti amano la tua salvezza dicano incessantemente: "Sia magnificato Dio!".
6 But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.	6 Ora, io sono povero e misero; o Dio, affréttati verso di me. Mia difesa e mio scampo tu sei; o Signore, non tardare!
