Psalms 70

1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.	1 For the leader; of David. For remembrance.
2 O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.	2 Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me, LORD!
3 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:	3 Confound and put to shame those who seek my life. Turn back in disgrace those who desire my ruin.
4 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.	4 Let those who say "Aha!" turn back in their shame.
5 Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.	5 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who long for your help always say, "God be glorified!"
6 But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.	6 Here I am, afflicted and poor. God, come quickly! You are my help and deliverer. LORD, do not delay!
