1 A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.	1 Consagrazione della casa. Io ti glorificherò, o Signore, perché tu mi hai protetto, e non hai rallegrati del mio danno i miei nemici.
2 Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.	2 Signore Dio mio, io alzai a te le mie grida, e tu mi sanasti.
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.	3 Signore, tu traesti fuor dall'inferno l'anima mia; mi salvasti dal consorzio di quelli, che scendono nella fossa.
4 The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.	4 Santi del Signore, cantate inni a lui, e celebrate la memoria di lui, che è santo.
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.	5 Perché egli nella sua indegnazione flagella, e col suo favore da vita. La sera saravvi il pianto, e al mattino allegrezza.
6 And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.	6 Ma io nella mia abbondanza avea detto: Non sarò soggetto a mutazione giammai.
7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:	7 Signore, col tuo favore tu avevi dato stabilità alle prosperevoli cose mie; Rivolgesti da me la tua faccia, ed lo fai in costernazione.
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.	8 A te, o Signore, alzerò io le mie grida, e al mio Dio presenterò la mia orazione.
9 The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.	9 Qual vantaggio del sangne mio, quand'io cadrò nella corruzione? Forse la polvere canterà le tue lodi, od annunzierà la tua verità?
10 The Lord maketh the hood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.	10 Il Signore mi udì, ed ebbe pietà di me: il Signore si fè mio aiuto.
	11 Cangiasti per me in gaudio i miei lamenti: facesti in pezzi il mio sacco, e mi inondasti di allegrezza:
	12 Affinchè tua laude sia la mia gloria, ed io non sia più trafitto: Signore Dio mio, te io canterò in eterno.
