Salmi 36

DIODATI	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Salmo di Davide, servitore del Signore dato al capo de’ Musici IL misfatto dell’empio mi dice dentro al cuore, Ch’egli non ha timore alcuno di Dio davanti agli occhi.	1 Unto the end, for the servant of God, David himself.
2 Perciocchè egli si lusinga appo sè stesso, Per venire a capo della sua iniquità, che è pur da odiare.	2 The unjust hath said within himself, that he would sin : there is no fear of God before his eyes.
3 Le parole della sua bocca sono iniquità e frode; Egli non ha più intelletto da far bene.	3 For in his sight he hath done deceitfully, that his iniquity may be found unto hatred.
4 Egli divisa iniquità sopra il suo letto; Egli si ferma nella via che non è buona, Egli non abborre il male	4 The words of his mouth are iniquity and guile : he would not understand that he might do well.
5 O Signore, la tua benignità arriva infino al cielo, E la tua verità infino alle nuvole.	5 He hath devised iniquity on his bed, he hath set himself on every way that is not good : but evil he hath not hated.
6 La tua giustizia è simile a monti altissimi; I tuoi giudicii sono un grande abisso. O Signore, tu conservi uomini e bestie.	6 O Lord, thy mercy is in heaven, and thy truth reacheth, even to the clouds.
7 O Dio, quanto preziosa è la tua benignità! Perciò i figliuoli degli uomini si riducono sotto l’ombra delle tue ale;	7 Thy justice is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are a great deep. Men and beasts thou wilt preserve, O Lord :
8 Son saziati del grasso della tua Casa; Tu li abbeveri del torrente delle tue delizie.	8 O how hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! But the children of men shall put their trust under the covert of thy wings.
9 Perciocchè appo te è la fonte della vita; E per la tua luce noi veggiamo la luce.	9 They shall be inebriated with the plenty of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the torrent of thy pleasure.
10 Stendi la tua benignità inverso quelli che ti conoscono, E la tua giustizia inverso quelli che son diritti di cuore.	10 For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.
11 Non vengami addosso il piè del superbo; E la mano degli empi non mi smuova.	11 Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.
12 Ecco là, gli operatori d’iniquità son caduti; Sono stati sospinti, e non son potuti risorgere	12 Let not the foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the sinner move me.
	13 There the workers of iniquity are fallen, they are cast out, and could not stand.
