BIBLIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Se acercaron los cabezas de familia de los levitas al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los cabezas de familia de las tribus de Israel,	1 Then the princes of the families of Levi came to Eleazar the priest, and to Josue the son of Nun, and to the princes of the kindreds of all the tribes of the children of Israel:
2 cuando estaban en Silo, en tierra de Canaán, y les dijeron: «Yahveh ordenó por medio de Moisés que se nos dieran ciudades donde residir, con sus pastos para nuestro ganado».	2 And they spoke to them in Silo in the land of Chanaan, and said: The Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, that cities should be given us to dwell in, and their suburbs to feed our cattle.
3 Los israelitas, conforme a la orden de Yahveh, dieron a los levitas, de su heredad, las siguientes ciudades con sus pastos.	3 And the children of Israel gave out of their possessions according to the commandment of the Lord, cities and their suburbs.
4 Se hizo el sorteo para los clanes quehatitas: y a los levitas hijos del sacerdote Aarón les tocaron trece ciudades de las tribus de Judá, Simeón, y Benjamín;	4 And the lot came out for the family of Caath of the children of Aaron the priest out of the tribes of Juda, and of Simeon, and of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5 a los otros hijos de Quehat, por clanes, diez ciudades de las tribus de Efraím, de Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.	5 And to the rest of the children of Caath, that is, to the Levites, who remained, out of the tribes of Ephraim, and of Dan, and the half tribe of Manasses, ten cities.
6 A los hijos de Guerson, por clanes, les tocaron trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar, Aser, Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés, en Basán.	6 And the lot came out to the children of Gerson, that they should take of the tribes of Issachar and of Aser and of Nephtali, and of the half tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.
7 A los hijos de Merarí, por clanes, les tocaron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, Gad y Zabulón.	7 And to the sons of Merari by their kindreds, of the tribes of Ruben and or Cad and of Zabulon, twelve cities.
8 Los israelitas dieron a los levitas por suertes esas ciudades y sus pastos, como Yahveh había ordenado por boca de Moisés.	8 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, giving to every one by lot.
9 De la tribu de Judá y de la tribu de Simeón les dieron las ciudades que se nombran a continuación;	9 Of the tribes of the children of Juda and of Simeon Josue gave cities: whose names are these,
10 esta fue la parte de los hijos de Aarón, pertenecientes al clan quehatita, de los hijos de Levi; porque la primera suerte fue para ellos.	10 To the sons of Aaron, of the families of Caath of the race of Levi (for the first lot came out for them)
11 Les dieron Quiryat Arbá (ciudad del padre de Anaq), o sea Hebrón, en la montaña de Judá, con los pastos circundantes.	11 The city of Arbe the father of Enac, which is called Hebron, in the mountain of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about.
12 Pero la campiña de esta ciudad con sus aldeas se la dieron en propiedad a Caleb, hijo de Yefunné.	12 But the fields and the villages thereof he had given to Caleb the son of Jephone for his possession.
13 A los hijos del sacerdote Aarón les dieron, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Hebrón con sus pastos, y además Libná y sus pastos,	13 He gave therefore to the children of Aaron the priest, Hebron a city of refuge, and the suburbs thereof: and Lobna with the suburbs thereof,
14 Yattir con sus pastos, Estemoa con sus pastos	14 And Jether and Estemo,
15 Jolón con sus pastos, Debir con sus pastos,	15 And Holon, and Dabir,
16 Asan con sus pastos, Yutta con sus pastos, Bet Semes con sus pastos: nueve ciudades de esas dos tribus.	16 And Ain, and Jeta, and Bethsames, with their suburbs : nine cities out of the two tribes, as hath been said.
17 De la tribu de Benjamín, Gabaón y sus pastos, Gueba y sus pastos,	17 And out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, Gabaon, and Gabae,
18 Anatot y sus pastos, Almón y sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	18 And Anathoth and Almon, with their suburbs: four cities.
19 Total de las ciudades de los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón: trece ciudades con sus pastos.	19 All the cities together of the children of Aaron the priest, were thirteen, with their suburbs.
20 A los clanes de los hijos de Quehat, a los levitas restantes entre los hijos de Quehat, les tocaron en suerte ciudades de la tribu de Efraím.	20 And to the rest of the families of the children of Caath of the race of Levi was given this possession.
21 Se les dio, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Siquem con sus pastos, en la montaña de Efraím, y además Guézer con sus pastos.	21 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Sichem one of the cities of refuge, with the suburbs thereof in mount Ephraim, and Cater,
22 Quibsáyim con sus pastos, Bet Jorón con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	22 And Cibsaim, and Beth-horon, with their suburbs, four cities.
23 De la tribu de Dan, Eltequé con sus pastos, Guibbetón con sus pastos,	23 And of the tribe of Dan, Eltheco and Gabathon,
24 Ayyalón con sus pastos, Gat Rimmón con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	24 And Aialon and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, four cities.
25 De la media tribu de Manasés, Tanak con sus pastos y Yibleam con sus pastos: dos ciudades.	25 And of the half tribe of Manasses, Thanac and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, two cities.
26 Total: diez ciudades con sus pastos para lo restantes clanes de los hijos de Quehat.	26 All the cities were ten, with their suburbs, which were given to the children of Caath, of the inferior degree.
27 A los hijos de Guersón, de los clanes levíticos, les dieron: de la media tribu de Manasés, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Golán en Basán con sus pastos, y Astarot con sus pastos: dos ciudades.	27 To the children of Gerson also of the race of Levi out of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon in Basan, one of the cities of refuge, and Bosra, with their suburbs, two cities.
28 De la tribu de Isacar, Quisyón con sus pastos, Daberat con sus pastos	28 And of the tribe of Issachar, Cesion, and Dabereth,
29 Yarmut con sus pastos, En Gannim con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	29 And Jaramoth, and Engannim, with their suburbs, four cities.
30 De la tribu de Aser, Misal con sus pastos, Abdón con sus pastos,	30 And of the tribe of Aser, Masal and Abdon,
31 Jelcat con sus pastos, Rejob con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	31 ,31And Helcath, and Rohob, with their suburbs, four cities.
32 De la tribu de Neftalí, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Quedes en Galilea con sus pastos, Jammot Dor con sus pastos, Raqcat con sus pastos: tres ciudades.	32 Of the tribe also of Nephtali, Cedes in Galilee, one of the cities of refuge: and Hammoth Dor, and Carthan, with their suburbs, three cities.
33 Total de ciudades de los guersonitas, por clanes: trece ciudades con sus pastos.	33 All the cities of the families of Gerson, were thirteen, with their suburbs.
34 A los clanes de los hijos de Merarí, al resto de los levitas: de la tribu de Zabulón: Yoqneam con sus pastos, Cartá con sus pastos,	34 And to the children of Merari, Levites of the inferior degree, by their families were given of the tribe of Zabulon, Jecnam and Cartha,
35 Rimmón con sus pastos, Nahalal con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades;	35 And Damna and Naalol, four cities with their suburbs;
36 al otro lado del Jordán, de la tribu de Rubén, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Béser en el desierto, en el llano, con sus pastos, y además Yahás con sus pastos,	36 Of the tribe of Ruben beyond the Jordan over against Jericho, Bosor in the wilderness, one of the cities of refuge, Miser and Jaser and Jethson and Mephaath, four cities with their suburbs.
37 Quedemot con sus pastos, Mefaat con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	37 Of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Galaad, one of the cities of refuge, and Manaim and Hesebon and Jaser, four cities with their suburbs.
38 De la tribu de Gad, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Ramot en Galaad, y Majanáyim	38 All the cities of the children of Merari by their families and kindreds, were twelve.
39 Jesbón con sus pastos, Yazer con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.	39 So all the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight,
40 Total de ciudades asignadas por suerte a los hijos de Merarí, por clanes, es decir, al resto de los clanes levíticos: doce ciudades.	40 With their suburbs, each distributed by the families.
41 Total de las ciudades de los levitas en medio de la propiedad de los israelitas: 48 ciudades con sus pastos.	41 And the Lord God gave to Israel all the land that he had sworn to give to their fathers: and they possessed it and dwelt in it.
42 Cada una de las ciudades comprendía la ciudad y los pastos circundantes. Así todas las ciudades mencionadas.	42 And he gave them peace from all nations round about: and none of their enemies durst stand against them, but were brought under their dominion.
43 Yahveh dio a los israelitas toda la tierra que había jurado dar a sus padres. La ocuparon y se establecieron en ella.	43 Not so much as one word, which he had promised to perform unto them, was made void, but all came to pass.
44 Yahveh les concedió paz en todos sus confines, tal como había jurado a sus padres, y ninguno de sus enemigos pudo hacerles frente. Yahveh entregó a todos sus enemigos en sus manos.
45 No falló una sola de todas las espléndidas promesas que Yahveh había hecho a la casa de Israel. Todo se cumplió.
