1 Du maître de chant. Sur les instruments à cordes.Psaume. D'Asaph. Cantique.	1 In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2 En Juda Dieu est connu, en Israël grand est son nom;	2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3 sa tente s'est fixée en Salem et sa demeure en Sion;	3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4 là, il a brisé les éclairs de l'arc, le bouclier, l'épée et la guerre.	4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
5 Lumineux que tu es, et célèbre pour les monceaux de butin	5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
6 qu'on leur a pris; les braves ont dormi leur sommeil, tous ces guerriers, les bras leur ont manqué;	6 At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7 sous ta menace, Dieu de Jacob, char et cheval se sont figés.	7 Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8 Toi, toi le terrible! Qui tiendra devant ta face, sous le coup de ta fureur?	8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9 Des cieux tu fais entendre la sentence, la terre a peur et se tait	9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10 quand Dieu se lève pour le jugement, pour sauver tous les humbles de la terre.	10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11 La colère de l'homme te rend gloire, des réchappés de la Colère, tu te ceindras;	11 Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12 faites des voeux, acquittez-les à Yahvé votre Dieu, ceux qui l'entourent, faites offrande auTerrible;	12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
13 il coupe le souffle des princes, terrible aux rois de la terre.
