1 Beçaléel fit l'arche en bois d'acacia. Elle était longue de deux coudées et demie, large d'une coudéeet demie et haute d'une coudée et demie.	1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.
2 Il la plaqua d'or pur au-dedans et au-dehors et fit une moulure d'or tout autour.	2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a molding of gold around it.
3 Il fondit, pour l'arche, quatre anneaux d'or, à ses quatre pieds: deux anneaux sur un côté, et deuxanneaux sur l'autre.	3 And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four corners, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side.
4 Il fit des barres en bois d'acacia et les plaqua d'or.	4 And he made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold,
5 Puis il introduisit les barres dans les anneaux fixés sur les côtés de l'arche pour porter l'arche.	5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.
6 Il fit un propitiatoire d'or pur, de deux coudées et demie de long et d'une coudée et demie de large.	6 And he made a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.
7 Il fit deux chérubins d'or repoussé, il les fit aux deux extrémités du propitiatoire:	7 And he made two cherubim of hammered gold; on the two ends of the mercy seat he made them,
8 un chérubin à cette extrémité-ci, un chérubin à cette extrémité-là, il fit faire corps aux chérubinsavec le propitiatoire à ses deux extrémités.	8 one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends.
9 Les chérubins avaient les ailes déployées vers le haut et protégeaient de leurs ailes le propitiatoire,en se faisant face; les faces des chérubins étaient tournées vers le propitiatoire.	9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim.
10 Il fit la table en bois d'acacia; elle avait deux coudées de long, une coudée de large et une coudée etdemie de haut.	10 He also made the table of acacia wood; two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height;
11 Il la plaqua d'or pur et fit une moulure d'or tout autour.	11 and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it.
12 Il fit, tout autour, des entretoises larges d'une palme et fit une moulure d'or autour des entretoises.	12 And he made around it a frame a handbreadth wide, and made a molding of gold around the frame.
13 Il fondit pour elle quatre anneaux d'or et il mit les anneaux aux quatre angles formés par les quatrepieds.	13 He cast for it four rings of gold, and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs.
14 Les anneaux étaient placés près des entretoises et servaient de logement aux barres qui servaientpour porter la table.	14 Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table.
15 Il fit les barres en bois d'acacia et les plaqua d'or, pour porter la table.	15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold.
16 Il fit les accessoires qui devaient être sur la table: ses plats, ses coupes, ses bols et ses aiguièrespour les libations, tous d'or pur.	16 And he made the vessels of pure gold which were to be upon the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour libations.
17 Il fit le candélabre d'or pur. D'or repoussé, il fit le candélabre, sa base et son fût. Ses calices,boutons et fleurs, faisaient corps avec lui.	17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand were made of hammered work; its cups, its capitals, and its flowers were of one piece with it.
18 Six branches s'en détachaient sur les côtés: trois branches du candélabre d'un côté, trois branchesdu candélabre de l'autre côté.	18 And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it;
19 La première branche portait trois calices en forme de fleur d'amandier, avec bouton et fleur. Ladeuxième branche portait trois calices en forme de fleur d'amandier, avec bouton et fleur. Il en était ainsi pour lessix branches partant du candélabre.	19 three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on the other branch --so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.
20 Le candélabre lui-même portait quatre calices en forme de fleur d'amandier, avec bouton et fleur:	20 And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almonds, with their capitals and flowers,
21 un bouton sous les deux premières branches partant du candélabre, un bouton sous les deuxbranches suivantes, un bouton sous les deux dernières branches: donc aux six branches s'en détachant.	21 and a capital of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it.
22 Les boutons et les branches faisaient corps avec le candélabre, et le tout était fait d'un bloc d'or purrepoussé.	22 Their capitals and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was one piece of hammered work of pure gold.
23 Puis il fit ses sept lampes, avec leurs mouchettes et leurs cendriers d'or pur.	23 And he made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.
24 D'un talent d'or pur, il fit le candélabre et tous ses accessoires.	24 He made it and all its utensils of a talent of pure gold.
25 Il fit l'autel des parfums en bois d'acacia, de cinq coudées de long, de cinq coudées de large -- donccarré -- et de trois coudées de haut; ses cornes faisaient corps avec lui.	25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood; its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit; it was square, and two cubits was its height; its horns were of one piece with it.
26 Il le plaqua d'or pur, sa partie supérieure, ses parois tout autour et ses cornes, et fit une moulured'or tout autour.	26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and he made a molding of gold round about it,
27 Il lui fit deux anneaux d'or au-dessous de la moulure, sur les deux côtés, sur les deux faces pourloger les barres servant à son transport.	27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it.
28 Il fit les barres en bois d'acacia et les plaqua d'or.	28 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
29 Il fit aussi l'huile d'onction sainte et l'encens aromatique -- comme un parfumeur.	29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer.
