1 Jahve reče Mojsiju:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
2 »Neka ovo bude obred za gubavca na dan njegova čišćenja: neka se dovede svećeniku;2 'This is the law to be applied on the day of the purification of someone who has suffered from acontagious skin-disease. Such a person wil be taken to the priest,
3 neka svećenik iziđe iz tabora i obavi pregled. Ako ustanovi da je gubavac od gube ozdravio,3 and the priest wil go outside the camp. If he finds on examination that the person has recovered fromthe disease,
4 neka naredi da se za čovjeka koji se ima čistiti uzmu dvije ptice, čiste i žive, cedrovine, grimiznog prediva i izopa.4 he wil order the fol owing to be brought for his purification: two live birds that are clean, some cedar wood, scarlet material and hyssop.
5 Neka zatim svećenik naredi da se jedna ptica zakolje nad živom vodom u zemljanoj posudi.5 He will then order one of the birds to be slaughtered in an earthenware pot over running water.
6 Potom neka uzme živu pticu, a onda zajedno živu pticu, cedrovinu, grimizno predivo i izop zamoči u krv ptice što je bila zaklana povrh žive vode.6 He will then take the live bird, the cedar wood, the scarlet material and the hyssop and dip all this(including the live bird) into the blood of the bird slaughtered over running water.

Poslije toga neka uđe u tabor, ali sedam dana neka stanuje izvan svoga šatora.8 The person who is being purified will then wash al clothing, shave off al hair, and wash, and wil thenbe clean. After this he will return to the camp, although he wil remain outside his tent for seven days.
9 Sedmi dan neka obrije sve svoje dlake: kosu, bradu i obrve; neka obrije sve ostale svoje dlake. Pošto u vodi opere svoju odjeću i okupa se, neka je čist.9 On the seventh day he wil shave off all his hair-head, beard and eyebrows; he wil shave off al hishair. After washing his clothing and his body he wil be clean.
10 Osmoga dana neka uzme muško janje bez mane, jedno žensko janje od godine dana, također bez mane, tri desetine efe najboljeg brašna zamiješena u ulju za žrtvu prinosnicu i jedan log ulja.10 'On the eighth day he wil take two unblemished lambs, an unblemished ewe one year old, three-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil for the cereal offering, and one log of oil.
11 Svećenik koji vrši čišćenje neka ih stavi pred Jahvu na ulazu u Šator sastanka s čovjekom koji se ima čistiti.11 The priest who is performing the purification will place the person who is being purified, with all hisofferings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.
12 Neka zatim svećenik uzme jedno muško janje pa ga s ono ulja u logu prinese kao žrtvu naknadnicu. Neka ih prinese pred Jahvom kao žrtvu prikaznicu.12 He wil then take one of the lambs and offer it as a sacrifice of reparation, as also the log of oil. Withthese he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.
13 Neka janje zakolje ondje gdje se kolju žrtve okajnice i žrtve paljenice – na svetome mjestu, jer žrtva naknadnica kao i okajnica pripada svećeniku: vrlo je sveta!13 He wil then slaughter the lamb on that spot inside the holy place where the victims for the sacrificefor sin and for the burnt offering are slaughtered. This reparatory offering, like the sacrifice for sin, wil revert tothe priest: it is especially holy.
14 Potom neka svećenik uzme krvi od žrtve naknadnice, pa neka njome namaže resicu desnoga uha, palac desne ruke i palac desne noge onoga koji se čisti.14 The priest wil then take some blood of this sacrifice and put it on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbof the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is being purified.
15 Poslije toga neka uzme log s uljem i izlije na dlan svoje lijeve ruke.15 He wil then take the log of oil and pour a little into the hol ow of his left hand.
16 Zamočivši svećenik svoj desni prst u ulje na svojoj lijevoj ruci, neka uljem sa svoga prsta obavi škropljenje pred Jahvom sedam puta.16 He wil dip a finger of his right hand into the oil in the hollow of his left hand, and sprinkle the oil withhis finger seven times before Yahweh.
17 Od ulja što mu preostane u ruci neka svećenik, po krvi od žrtve naknadnice, pomaže resicu desnoga uha, palac desne ruke i palac desne noge onoga koji se čisti.17 He wil then take some of the oil left in the hollow of his hand and put it on the lobe of the right ear,the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified, in addition to the bloodof the sacrifice of reparation.
18 Ostatak ulja sa svoje ruke neka svećenik metne na glavu onoga koji se čisti. Tako će svećenik nad njim izvršiti obred pomirenja pred Jahvom.18 The rest of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he will put on the head of the person who is being purified.This is how the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for such a person before Yahweh.
19 Neka svećenik poslije toga prinese žrtvu okajnicu i nad onim koji se čisti neka obavi obred pomirenja za njegovu nečistoću. Napokon neka zakolje žrtvu paljenicu,19 'The priest wil then offer the sacrifice for sin, and perform the rite of expiation for uncleanness for theperson who is being purified. After this, he wil slaughter the burnt offering
20 a onda neka svećenik žrtvu paljenicu i žrtvu prinosnicu podigne na žrtvenik. Kad tako svećenik nad njim obavi obred pomirenja, neka je čist.20 and offer this and the cereal offering on the altar. So, when the priest has performed the rite ofexpiation for him the person wil be clean.
21 Ako bude siromašan te ne mogne to priskrbiti, neka uzme samo jedno muško janje za žrtvu naknadnicu i neka se ono prinese kao žrtva prinosnica da se nad tim čovjekom izvrši obred pomirenja. I neka uzme samo desetinu efe najboljeg brašna zamiješena u ulju za žrtvu prinosnicu, jedan log ulja,21 'If he is poor and cannot afford al this, he need take only one lamb, the one for the sacrifice ofreparation, and this will be presented with the gesture of offering to perform the rite of expiation for him. And forthe cereal offering he wil only take one-tenth of wheaten flour mixed with oil, and the log of oil,
22 k tome dvije grlice ili dva golubića – prema svojim mogućnostima – jedno za žrtvu okajnicu, a drugo za žrtvu paljenicu.22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one for a sacrifice for sin and theother for the burnt offering.
23 Osam dana nakon svoga očišćenja neka ih donese svećeniku na ulaz u Šator sastanka pred Jahvu.23 He wil bring these on the eighth day to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting beforeYahweh, for his purification.
24 Neka svećenik uzme janje za žrtvu naknadnicu i log s uljem pa ih prinese pred Jahvom kao žrtvu prikaznicu.24 The priest wil take the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation and the log of oil, and present them beforeYahweh with the gesture of offering.
25 Neka se onda zakolje janje žrtve naknadnice, a svećenik neka uzme njegove krvi i neka njome namaže resicu desnoga uha, palac desne ruke i palac desne noge onoga koji se čisti.25 He wil then slaughter the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation, take some of its blood and put it on thelobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is beingpurified.
26 Poslije toga neka svećenik izlije ulje na dlan svoje lijeve ruke.26 He wil pour the oil into the hol ow of his left hand,
27 A onda neka od ulja što mu je na dlanu lijeve ruke obavi škropljenje sedam puta prstom svoje desne ruke pred Jahvom.27 and with his finger sprinkle the oil in the hol ow of his left hand seven times before Yahweh.
28 Od ulja iz svoje ruke neka svećenik, po krvi žrtve naknadnice, namaže resicu desnog uha, palac desne ruke i palac desne noge onoga koji se čisti.28 He wil then put some of the oil on the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the bigtoe of the right foot of the person who is being purified, as he did with the blood of the sacrifice of reparation.
29 Ostatak ulja što bude na dlanu neka svećenik stavi na glavu onoga koji se čisti, vršeći nad njim obred pomirenja pred Jahvom.29 The remainder of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he wil put on the head of the person who is beingpurified, thus performing the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh.
30 Neka zatim prinese jednu od dviju grlica ili jednoga od dvaju golubića – što je već mogao pribaviti –30 Of the two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- whatever he has been able to afford -- he wil offer
31 kao žrtvu okajnicu, a drugu kao žrtvu paljenicu zajedno sa žrtvom prinosnicom. Neka tako svećenik izvrši obred pomirenja pred Jahvom nad onim koji se čisti.«31 a sacrifice for sin with one, and with the other a burnt offering with a cereal offering -- whatever hehas been able to afford. This is how the priest will perform before Yahweh the rite of expiation for the person whois being purified.
32 To je propis za onoga koji je gubom zaražen a ne može priskrbiti sve za svoje očišćenje.32 'Such is the law concerning someone with a contagious skin-disease who cannot afford the means ofpurification.'
33 Jahve reče Mojsiju i Aronu:33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:
34 »Kad uđete u kanaansku zemlju koju ću vam dati u posjed, a ja pustim gubu na koju kuću u zemlji što je budete zaposjeli,34 'When you reach Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, if I infect a house with adisease in the country which you are to possess,
35 onda onaj čija je kuća neka dođe svećeniku i kaže: ‘Čini mi se da je moja kuća zaražena gubom.’35 the owner wil come and inform the priest and say, "I have seen something like a skin-disease in thehouse."
36 Neka svećenik naredi da se kuća isprazni prije nego on dođe da bolest pregleda, da ne bi sve što je u kući bilo proglašeno nečistim; poslije toga neka svećenik uđe da kuću pregleda.36 The priest wil order the house to be emptied before he goes to examine the infection, or everything inthe house wil become unclean; after which, the priest wil go inside and examine the house;
37 Ako nakon pregleda zapazi da je bolest na kućnim zidovima od zelenkastih ili crvenkastih udubina i pričini mu se da idu dublje od površine zida,37 and if on examination he finds the wal s of the house pitted with reddish or greenish depressionswhich appear to be eating away the wall,
38 neka svećenik iziđe iz kuće na kućna vrata i neka kuću zatvori sedam dana.38 the priest wil then go out of the house, to the door, and shut it up for seven days.
39 Sedmi dan neka svećenik opet dođe i pregleda: ako se bolest bude proširila po zidovima kuće,39 On the seventh day, the priest will come back and if on examination he finds that the infection hasspread over the walls of the house,
40 neka svećenik naredi da se povadi zaraženo kamenje i baci na koje nečisto mjesto izvan grada.40 he wil order the infected stones to be removed and thrown into some unclean place outside the town.
41 Zatim neka zapovjedi da se svi unutarnji zidovi kuće ostružu i da se sastrugani prah baci na koje nečisto mjesto izvan grada.41 He wil then have all the inside of the house scraped, and the plaster that comes off will be emptied inan unclean place outside the town.
42 Onda neka se uzme drugo kamenje i umetne namjesto onoga kamenja. Potom neka se uzme druga žbuka i kuća ponovno ožbuka.42 The stones wil then be replaced with new ones and the house given a new coat of plaster.
43 Ako se pošast na kući opet pojavi pošto je kamenje bilo povađeno i kuća ostrugana i opet ožbukana,43 'If the infection spreads again after the stones have been removed and the house scraped andreplastered,
44 neka svećenik ode da pregleda: bude li se bolest po kući proširila, to je onda u kući zarazna guba; kuća je nečista.44 the priest wil come and examine it. If he finds that the infection has spread, this means that there is acontagious disease in the house: it is unclean.
45 Neka se kuća poruši, a njezino kamenje, njezina drvena građa i sva žbuka s kuće neka se odnese izvan grada na koje nečisto mjesto.45 It must be pul ed down and the stones, woodwork and al the plaster be taken to an unclean placeoutside the town.
46 Tko uđe u kuću dok je zatvorena, neka je nečist do večeri.46 'Anyone who enters the house while it is closed wil be unclean until evening.
47 Tko u kući legne, mora oprati svoju odjeću. I tko u kući objeduje, mora svoju odjeću oprati.47 Anyone who sleeps there wil wash his clothes. Anyone who eats there will wash his clothes.
48 Ako li svećenik dođe i vidi da se bolest po kući nije proširila pošto je kuća opet bila ožbukana, neka svećenik kuću proglasi čistom, jer se bolest izliječila.48 But if the priest finds, when he comes to examine the infection, that it has not spread in the housesince it was plastered, he wil declare the house clean, for the infection is cured.
49 A za očišćenje kuće neka uzme: dvije ptice, cedrovine, grimizna prediva i izopa.49 'As a sacrifice for the defilement of the house, he wil take two birds, some cedar wood, scarletmaterial and hyssop.
50 Jednu od ptica neka zakolje nad živom vodom u zemljanoj posudi.50 He wil slaughter one of the birds in an earthenware pot over running water.
51 Potom neka uzme: cedrovinu, izop, grimizno predivo i pticu živu te ih zamoči u krv ptice zaklane i u živu vodu pa kuću poškropi sedam puta.51 He wil then take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet material and the live bird, dip them into theblood of the slaughtered bird and into the running water and sprinkle the house seven times;
52 Očistivši tako od grijeha kuću krvlju ptice, živom vodom, živom pticom, cedrovinom, izopom i grimiznim predivom,52 and after offering the sacrifice for the defilement of the house with the blood of the bird, the runningwater, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet material,
53 neka pticu živu pusti izvan grada na otvorenu polju. Kad tako obavi obred pomirenja nad kućom, bit će čista.«53 he wil set the live bird free to fly out of the town into the countryside. Once the rite of expiation hasbeen performed for the house in this way it wil be clean.
54 To je propis za svaku vrstu gube i šuge,54 'Such is the law governing all kinds of skin-disease and tinea,
55 za gubu odjeće ili kuće,55 diseases of clothing and houses,
56 za otekline, lišaje ili pjege.56 swel ings, scabs and spots. It defines the occasions when things are unclean and when clean.
57 On određuje vrijeme nečistoće i čistoće.
To je zakon o gubi.
57 Such is the law on skin-diseases.'
