1 A psalm of David. LORD, I call to you; come quickly to help me; listen to my plea when I call.	1 Psalm. Dawidowy. Do Ciebie wołam, Panie, prędko mi dopomóż; usłysz głos mój, gdy wołam do Ciebie.
2 Let my prayer be incense before you; my uplifted hands an evening sacrifice.	2 Niech moja modlitwa będzie stale przed Tobą jak kadzidło; wzniesienie rąk moich - jak ofiara wieczorna!
3 Set a guard, LORD, before my mouth, a gatekeeper at my lips.	3 Postaw, Panie, straż moim ustom i wartę przy bramie warg moich!
4 Do not let my heart incline to evil, or yield to any sin. I will never feast upon the fine food of evildoers.	4 Mojego serca nie skłaniaj do złego słowa, do popełniania czynów niegodziwych, bym nigdy z ludźmi, co czynią nieprawość, nie jadł ich potraw wybornych.
5 Let the just strike me; that is kindness; let them rebuke me; that is oil for my head. All this I shall not refuse, but will pray despite these trials.	5 Niech sprawiedliwy mię bije: to czyn miłości; olejek występnego niech nigdy nie ozdabia mojej głowy! Nieustannie przeciwstawiam swą modlitwę ich złości.
6 When their leaders are cast over the cliff, all will learn that my prayers were heard.	6 Popadli w moc Skały ich sędziowie i usłyszeli, jak łagodne były moje słowa.
7 As when a farmer plows a field into broken clods, so their bones will be strewn at the mouth of Sheol.	7 Jak kamień młyński rozbija się o ziemię, tak rozrzucono ich kości nad czeluścią Szeolu.
8 My eyes are upon you, O GOD, my Lord; in you I take refuge; do not strip me of life.	8 Do Ciebie bowiem, Panie mój, Panie, (zwracam) moje oczy; do Ciebie się uciekam: Ty nie gub mej duszy.
9 Guard me from the trap they have set for me, from the snares of evildoers.	9 Strzeż mnie od sidła, które zastawili ma mnie, i od pułapek złoczyńców.
10 Into their own nets let all the wicked fall, while I make good my own escape.	10 Niechaj występni wpadną w swoje sieci, podczas gdy ja ujdę cało.
