1 And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.	1 I capi del popolo si stabilirono a Gerusalemme; il resto del popolo gettò le sorti, perché uno su dieci trasferisse la dimora a Gerusalemme, la città santa, mentre gli altri nove potevano rimanere nelle città.
2 And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.	2 Il popolo però elogiò tutti coloro che si trasferirono spontaneamente, a Gerusalemme.
3 These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.	3 Questi sono i capi della provincia, i quali dimoravano a Gerusalemme, mentre nelle città di Giuda si erano stabiliti, ognuno nella sua proprietà, nelle città, gli altri Israeliti, i sacerdoti, i Leviti, i netinei e i figli dei servitori di Salomone.
4 And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,	4 Abitarono a Gerusalemme figli di Giuda e di Beniamin. Figli di Giuda: Ataia figlio di Uzzia, figlio di Zaccaria, figlio di Amaria, figlio di Shefatia, figlio di Mahalaleel, tra i figli di Perez;
5 Maasia the son of Baruch, the son of Cholhoza, the son of Hazia, the son of Adaia, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zacharias, the son of the Silonite:	5 Maaseia figlio di Baruch, figlio di Col-Khoze, figlio di Khazaia, figlio di Adaia, figlio di Joiarib, figlio di Zaccaria, figlio di uno Shelanita.
6 All these the sons of Phares, who dwelt in Jerusalem, were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.	6 Tutti i figli di Perez, che abitavano a Gerusalemme, erano quattrocentosessantotto uomini di valore.

13 And his brethren the chiefs of the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai the son of Azreel, the son of Ahazi, the son of Mosollamoth, the son of Emmer,	13 i suoi fratelli, capicasata, in numero di duecentoquarantadue; Amasai figlio di Azareel, figlio di Akhzai, figlio di Meshillemot, figlio di Immer,

18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.	18 Tutti i Leviti che erano nella città santa erano duecentoottantaquattro.

22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, were the singing men in the ministry of the house of Cod.	22 A Gerusalemme, il capo dei Leviti, era Uzzi figlio di Bani, figlio di Khashabia, figlio di Mattania, figlio di Micha, dei figli di Asaf; essi erano i cantori incaricati del servizio nel tempio di Dio;
23 For the king's commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.	23 C’era infatti a loro riguardo un ordine del re, per cui ai cantori veniva fissata una provvigione quotidiana.
24 And Phathahia the son of Mesezebel of the children of Zara the son of Juda was at the hand of the king, in all matters concerning the people,	24 Petakhia, figlio di Meshezabeel, dei figli di Zerakh, figlio di Giuda, era delegato del re per tutti gli affari del popolo.
25 And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.	25 Tra i figli di Giuda, alcuni, prendendo dimora nei loro villaggi sparsi per le loro campagne, andarono ad abitare a Kiriat-Arba e nelle sue dipendenze; altri a Dibon e nelle sue dipendenze; altri a Jekabzeel e nei suoi villaggi;
26 And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,	26 a Jeshua, Molada, Bet-Pelet,
27 And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,	27 a Khazar, a Shual, a Bersabea e nelle sue dipendenze,
28 And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,	28 a Ziklag, a Mechona e nelle sue dipendenze,

31 And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,	31 I figli di Beniamin invece si stabilirono a Gabaa, Michmas, Ai, Bethel e nelle dipendenze,
32 At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,	32 Anatot, Nob, Anania,
33 Asor, Rama, Gethaim,	33 Khazor, Rama, Ghirfaim,
34 Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,	34 Khadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 And Ono the valley of craftsmen.	35 Lod, Ono, nella valle degli Artigiani.
36 And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.	36 I Leviti si divisero tra Giuda e Beniamin,
