Isaías 32

BIBLIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 He aquí que para hacer justicia reinará un rey, y los jefes juzgarán según derecho.	1 Behold a king shall reign in justice, and princes shell rule in judgment.
2 Será cada uno como un sitio abrigado contra el viento y a cubierto del temporal; como fluir de aguas en sequedal, como sombra de peñón en tierra agostada.	2 And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm, as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.
3 No se cerrarán los ojos de los videntes, y los oídos de los que escuchan percibirán;	3 The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken diligently.
4 el corazón de los alocados se esforzará en aprender, y la lengua de los tartamudos hablará claro y ligero.	4 And the heart of fools shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of stammerers shall speak readily and plain.
5 No se llamará ya noble al necio, ni al desaprensivo se le llamará magnífico.	5 The fool shall no more be called prince: neither shall the deceitful be called great:
6 Porque el necio dice necedades y su corazón medita el mal, haciendo impiedad y profiriendo contra Yahveh desatinos, dejando vacío el estómago hambriento y privando de bebida al sediento.	6 For the fool will speak foolish things, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and speak to the Lord deceitfully, and to make empty the soul of the hungry, and take away drink from the thirsty.
7 Cuanto al desaprensivo, sus tramas son malas, se dedica a inventar maquinaciones para sorprender a los pobres con palabras engañosas, cuando el pobre expone su causa.	7 The vessels of the deceitful are most wicked: for he hath framed devices to destroy the meek, with lying words, when the poor man speaketh judgment.
8 Mientras que el noble medita nobles cosas, y en las cosas nobles está firme.	8 But the prince will devise such things as are worthy of a prince, and he shah stand above the rulers.
9 Mujeres indolentes, ¡arriba!, oíd mi voz; hijas confiadas, escuchad mi palabra.	9 Rise up, ye rich women, and hear my voice: ye confident daughters, give ear to my speech.
10 Dentro de un año y algunos días temblaréis las que confiáis, pues se habrá acabado la vendimia para no volver más.	10 For after days and a year, you that are confident shall be troubled: for the vintage is at an end, the gathering shall come no more.
11 Espantaos, indolentes, temblad, confiadas, desvestíos, desnudaos, ceñid vuestra cintura,	11 Be astonished, ye rich women, be troubled, ye confident ones: strip yen, and be confounded, gird your loins.
12 golpeaos el pecho, por los campos atrayentes, por las viñas fructíferas.	12 Mourn for your breasts, for the delightful country, for the fruitful vineyard.
13 Sobre el solar de mi pueblo zarza y espino crecerá, y también sobre todas las casas de placer de la villa alegre,	13 Upon the land of my people shall thorns and briers come up: how much more upon all the houses of joy, of the city that rejoiced?
14 porque el alcázar habrá sido abandonado, el genio de la ciudad habrá desaparecido; Ofel y el Torreón quedarán en adelante vacíos por siempre, para delicia de asnos y pastizal de rebaños.	14 For the house is forsaken, the multitude of the city is left, darkness and obscurity are come upon its dens for ever. A joy of wild asses, the pastures of docks,
15 Al fin será derramado desde arriba sobre nosotros espíritu. Se hará la estepa un vergel, y el vergel será considerado como selva.	15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high: and the desert shall be se a charmel, and charmel shall be counted for a forest.
16 Reposará en la estepa la equidad, y la justicia morará en el vergel;	16 And judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and justice shall sit in charmel.
17 el producto de la justicia será la paz, el fruto de la equidad, una seguridad perpetua.	17 And the work of justice shall be peace, and the service of justice quietness, and security for ever.
18 Y habitará mi pueblo en albergue de paz, en moradas seguras y en posadas tranquilas.	18 And my people shall sit in the beauty of peace, and in the tabernacles of confidence, and in wealthy rest.
19 - La selva será abatida y la ciudad hundida.	19 But hail shall be in the descent of the forest, and the city shall be made very low.
20 Dichosos vosotros, que sembraréis cabe todas las corrientes, y dejaréis sueltos el buey y el asno.	20 Blessed are ye that sow upon all waters, sending thither the foot of the ox and the ass.
