Isaia 28

BIBBIA VOLGARE	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Guai alla corona della superbia, e alli ebrii di Efraim, e ai fiori cadenti della gloria delle allegrezze sue, le quali sono nella testa della valle grassissima, erranti dal vino.	1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Ecco lo Signore è saldo e forte, come lo impeto delle grandini; turbine rompente, come lo impeto delle acque molto allaganti, e mandate fuori sopra la terra spaziosa.	2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
3 La corona della superbia delli ebrii di Efraim sarà conculcata colli piedi.	3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 E lo fiore della sua allegrezza cadrà, lo quale è sopra lo capo delle valli grasse, quasi come temporale dinanzi della maturezza dello autunno; e quando lo averà veduto, immantinente quando l'averà in mano, sì lo mangerà.	4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
5 In quello di sarà lo Signore delli esèrciti corona di gloria, e ghirlanda d'allegrezza allo rimanente del suo popolo.	5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 E alli sedenti sopra lo trono sarà spirito di giudicio; fortezza a quelli che ritorneranno dalla battaglia alla porta.	6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 Ma vero è che questi non lo seppono per lo vino, ed errarono per la ebrietà; li sacerdoti e profeti non seppono per la ebrietà, e furono inghiottiti dal vino, [ed errarono nella ebrietà], e non conobbero lo vedente (cioè Iddio), e non seppono lo giudicio.	7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 E tutte le tavole furono piene di vomito (cioè di rigettamento di quelli che vi mangiavano), e furono anche piene di brutture, intanto che non v' era più luogo.	8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Adunque a cui sì insegnerà la scienza? e a cui farae intendere l'udimento? (Quasi, io insegnerò) alli lattanti alla poppa, iscacciati dalle poppe.	9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 Però che (loro si dice) manda, rimanda; manda, rimanda; aspetta, riaspetta; aspetta, riaspetta; uno poco quivi, uno poco quivi!	10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 Elli parlerà in altra lingua e in altro parlare a questo popolo.	11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 A cui egli disse: questo è lo mio riposo, rinfrescate lo stanco, e questo è lo mio refrigerio: e non lo volsero udire.	12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 E a loro sarà questa parola, cioè: manda, rimanda; manda, rimanda; aspetta, riaspetta; aspetta, riaspetta; uno poco quivi, uno poco quivi; acciò che loro vadano e caggiano adietro, e rompansi, e sieno allacciati, e sieno presi.	13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 E però udite la parola di Dio, uomini schernieri, i quali signoreggiate sopra lo populo mio lo quale è in Ierusalem.	14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 E voi diceste: noi abbiamo fatto patto colla morte, e collo inferno abbiamo patteggiato; la battitura moltiplicante non verrà sopra noi, quando passerà; però che abbiamo posta la bugia per nostra speranza, e siamo gittati nella falsità.	15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 E però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco, nelli fondamenti di Sion io metterò una pietra angolata, a pruova e bella, fondata nel fondamento; colui che crederà, non s' affretti.	16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 E porrò lo giudicio nel peso, e la giustizia nella misura; e la gragnuola rivolterà sotto sopra la speranza della bugia; e la difensione allagheranno le acque.	17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 E lo vostro patto colla morte sarà annichilato, e lo vostro patto non istarà fermo collo inferno; e la battitura allagante quanto passerà, sarete conculcati da quella.	18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 E quando passerà, torravvi via; perchè passerà via la mattina per tempo, nel dì e nella notte; e pure solamente la tribulazione darà intendimento all' udito.	19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
20 Però che lo letto è ristretto, intanto che l'uno (none) cade; e lo copertoro è sì piccolo, che non puote coprire ciascuno di voi.	20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 Sì come nel monte delle divisioni lo Signore starà; così s' adirerà [come] nella valle la quale è in Gabaon, per fare l'opera sua; è la sua opera straniera; e peregrina da lui è la sua opera (è aliena) per fare l'opera sua.	21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Adunque non vogliate schernire (nè fare beffe), acciò che forse li vostri legami non si ristringano; io hoe udito compimento di fine e abbreviamento dal Signore delli esèrciti sopra tutta la terra.	22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Ricevete colle orecchie e udite la mia voce; attendete (cioè ascoltate) e udite il mio parlare.	23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
24 Or (non) arerae tutto lo dì l' arante per seminare, e romperà e sarchierà la sua terra?	24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 Or quando averà affacciata e agguagliata la terra per seminare e ispargervi lo git e lo cimino, e' non porrà il grano per ordine, e l' orzo e il miglio e la veccia nel fine suo?	25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and rie in their place?
26 E Iddio suo il dirizzerà, e ammaestrerallo nel giudicio.	26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
27 (Questo git sì è uno seme di generazione di legume, e sì è grosso e grande come lo cimino, ma è di colore nigro, e spargesi nel pane). E questo git non si triterà colli strumenti dentati, nè le ruote delle macine. roteranno sopra lo cimino; ma colla verga si purgherà lo git, e lo cimino col bastone.	27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28 E lo pane sarà minuzzato; ma non in perpetuo lo triterà lo tritatore, e non lo schiaccerà con ruote di carro, e non lo maccherà colle sue unghie.	28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
29 E questo uscìo dallo Iddio Signore delli esèrciti, acciò che facesse consiglio maraviglioso, e magnificasse la giustizia.	29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
