2 La signoria e la paura è appresso colui che fa la concordia nelle sue altissime cose.	2 Power and terror are with him that makes a pact with those in high places.
3 Or (non) è numero delli suoi cavalieri? E sopra lo quale non si rizza lo lume di colui?	3 Is there any limit to the number of his soldiers or to the number of those over whom his light rises?
4 Or (non si) puote essere giustificato l' uomo assomigliato a Dio, ovvero apparire mondo, nato della femina?	4 Is it right for man to compare himself to God, or to appear pure though he is born of woman?
5 Ecco e già la luna non risplende, e le stelle non sono monde dinanzi da lui.	5 Behold, even the moon is not radiant, and the stars are not pure, in his sight.
6 Quanto e maggiormente l' uomo puzza, e lo figliuolo dell' uomo vermini?	6 Is man much more than rottenness and the son of man much more than worms?
