1 E fu numerato tutto Israel; e la somma loro è scritta nel libro de' re d' Israel e di Giuda; e furono translatati in Babilonia per lo suo peccato.	1 And all Israel was numbered: and the sum of them was written in the book of the kings of Israel, and Juda: and they were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2 Ma quelli che abitarono primi nelle loro possessioni e città sue, furono Israel, i sacerdoti e' leviti e' Natinei.	2 Now the first that dwelt in their possessions, and in their cities, were the Israelites, and the priests, and the Levites, and the Nathineans.
3 E dimorarono in Ierusalem de' figliuoli di Giuda e di Beniamin, e de' figliuoli di Efraim e di Manasse.	3 And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and of Manasses.
4 Otei figliuolo di Ammiud, figliuolo di Amri, figliuolo di Omrai, figliuolo di Bonni, de' figliuoli di Fares figliuolo di Giuda.	4 Othei the son of Ammiud, the son of Amri, the son of Omrai, the son of Bonni, of the sons of Phares the son of Juda.
5 Edi Siloni: Asaia primogenito e' suoi figliuoli.	5 And of Siloni: Asaia the firstborn, and his sons.
6 De' figliuoli di Zara: Ieuel e' suoi fratelli, seicentonovanta.	6 And of the sons of Zara: Jehuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 E de' figliuoli di Beniamin: Salo figliuolo di Mosollam, figliuolo di Oduia, figliuolo di Asana;	7 And of the sons of Benjamin: Sale the son of Mosollam, the son of Oduia, the son of Asana:
8 e Iobania figliuolo di Ieroam; ed Ella figliuolo di Ozi, figliuolo di Mocori; e Mosolla figliuolo di Safatia, figliuolo di Rauel, figliuolo di Iebania;	8 And Jobania the son of Jeroham: and Ela the son of Ozi, the son of Mochori: and Mosallam the son of Saphatias, the son of Rahuel, the son of Jebania:
9 e' suoi fratelli per le famiglie loro, DCCCCLVI; tutti questi principi per le loro cognazioni e per le case de' padri loro.	9 And their brethren by their families, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these were heads of their families, by the houses of their fathers.
10 E de' sacerdoti: Iedaia, Ioiari eb Iachin,	10 And of the priests: Jedaia, Joiarib, and Jachin:
11 e Azaria figliuolo di Elcia, figliuolo di Mosollam, figliuolo di Sadoc, figliuolo di Maraiot, figliuolo di Achitob, pontefice della casa di Dio.	11 And Azarias the son of Helcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Maraioth, the son of Achitob, high priest of the house of God.
12 E Adaia figliuolo di Ieroam, figliuolo di Fassur, figliuolo di Melchia; e Maasai figliuolo di Adiel, figliuolo di Iezra, figliuolo di Mosollam, figliuolo di Mosollamit, figliuolo di Emmer;	12 And Adaias the son of Jeroham, the son of Phassur, the son of Melchias, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jezra, the son of Mosollam, the son of Mosollamith, the son of Emmer.
13 e i loro fratelli principi per le sue famiglie, MDCCLX, fortissimi a fare il lavorìo del ministerio nella casa di Dio.	13 And their brethren heads in their families re thousand seven hundred and threescore, very strong and able men for the work of the ministry in the house of God.
14 De' Leviti: Semeia figliuolo di Assub, figliuolo di Ezricam, figliuolo di Asebia, de' figliuoli di Merari.	14 And of the Levites: Semeia the son of Hassub the son of Ezricam, the son of Hasebia of the sons of Merari.
15 Bacbacar maestro di pietra, e Galal, e Matania figliuolo di Mica, figliuolo di Zecri, figliuolo di Asaf;	15 And Bacbacar the carpenter, and Galal, and Mathania the son of Micha, the son of Zechri the son of Asaph:
16 e Obdia figliuolo di Semeia, figliuolo di Galal, figliuolo di Iditun; e Barachia figliuolo di Asa, figliuolo di Elcana, il quale abitoe nel palagio di Netofati.	16 And Obdia the son of Semeia, the son of Galal, the son of Idithum: and Barachia the son of Asa, the son of Elcana, who dwelt in the suburbs of Netophati.
17 E' portieri: Sellum e Accub e Telmon e Aimam; e il loro fratello Sellum fu principe	17 And the porters were Sellum, and Accub, and Telmon, and Ahiman: and their brother Sellum was the prince,
18 insino a questo tempo, e nella porta del re ad oriente, guardavano sì come toccava loro, de' figliuoli di Levi.	18 Until that time, in the king's gate eastward, the sons of Levi waited by their turns.
19 Sellum figliuolo di Core, figliuolo di Abiasaf, figliuolo di Core, colli suoi fratelli e con la casa del padre suo; questi sono gli Coriti sopra l'opera del ministerio, guardiani de' vestibuli del tabernacolo; e le famiglie loro, per muta delle castelle del Signore, guardando l'entrata.	19 But Sellum the son of Core, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core, with his brethren and his father's house, the Corites were over the works of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their families in turns were keepers of the entrance of the camp of the Lord.
20 E Finees, figliuolo di Eleazaro, era loro capitano nel cospetto del Signore.	20 And Phinees the son of Eleazar, was their prince before the Lord,
21 E Zacaria, figliuolo di Mosollamia, era portiere della porta del tabernacolo del testimonio.	21 And Zacharias the son of Mosollamia, was porter of the gate of the tabernacle of the testimony:
22 Tutti questi, eletti in portieri per le porte, CCXII erano iscritti nelle proprie ville, e' quali Samuel profeta e David ordinarono nella fede loro,	22 All these that were chosen to be porters at the gates, were two hundred and twelve: and they mere registered in their proper towns: whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their trust.
23 così loro, come i figliuoli loro, alle porte della casa di Dio, e nel tabernacolo, per sorte come toccava.	23 As well them as their sons, to keep the gates of the house of the Lord, and the tabernacle by their turns.
24 Ed erano portieri a' quattro venti, cioè ad oriente, ad occidente, ad aquilone e a mezzodì.	24 In four quarters were the porters: that is to say, toward the east, and west, and north, and south.
25 E i loro fratelli dimoravano nelli borghetti, e venivano nei sabbati loro di tempo a tempo.	25 And their brethren dwelt in villages, and came upon their sabbath days from time to time.
26 A questi quattro leviti era obbligato tutto il numero de' portieri, ed erano sopra le camere e il tesoro della casa di Dio.	26 To these four Levites were committed the whole number of the porters, and they were over the chambers, and treasures, of the house of the Lord.
27 E dimoravano intorno al tempio del Signore nelle guardie loro, acciò che, essendo il tempo, egli presto aprissono le porte.	27 And they abode in their watches round about the temple of the Lord: that when it was time, they might open the gates in the morning.
28 E della loro generazione erano sopra le vasella del ministerio; però che le vasella a numero si traevano e reponevano (di loro).	28 And some of their stock had the charge of the vessels for the ministry: for the vessels were both brought in and carried out by number.
29 E quelli ai quali erano credute l'altre massarizie del santuario, erano soprastanti alla semola, (cioè al fior della farina,) al vino e all' olio e allo incenso e alle spezie.	29 Some of them also had the instruments of the sanctuary committed unto them, and the charge of the fine flour, and wine, and oil, and frankincense, and spices.
30 E i figliuoli de' sacerdoti conficiavano gli unguenti delle spezie.	30 And the sons of the priests made the ointments of the spices.
31 E Matalia Levita, primogenito di Sellum Corita, era soprastante di quelle cose che si friggevano in padella.	31 And Mathathias a Levite, the firstborn of Sellum the Corite, was overseer of such things as were fried in the fryingpan.
32 E de' figliuoli di Caat, loro fratelli, erano sopra il pane della proposizione, per apparecchiare ogni sabbato il fresco.	32 And some of the sons of Caath their brethren, were over the leaves of proposition, to prepare always new for every sabbath.
33 Questi sono i prìncipi de' cantori per le famiglie de' Leviti, i quali dimoravano nelle camere, sì che il dì e la notte (dimoravano e) continuamente servissero il suo ministerio.	33 These are the chief of the singing men of the families of the Levites, who dwelt in the chambers, by the temple, that they might serve continually day and night in their ministry.
34 I capi de' Leviti, per le sue famiglie prìncipi, abitarono in Ierusalem.	34 The heads of the Levites, princes in their families, abode in Jerusalem.
35 In Gabaon, dimorarono il padre di Gabaon, Ieiel; il nome della sua donna Maaca.	35 And in Gabaon dwelt Jehiel the father of Gabaon, and the name of hill wife was Maacha:
36 Il suo figliuolo primogenito Abdon, e Sur e Cis e Baal e Ner e Nadab,	36 His firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 e Gedor e Aio e Zacaria, e Macellot.	37 Gedor also, and Ahio, and Zacharias, and Macelloth.
38 E Macellot generò Samaan: questi abitarono in Ierusalem, incontro a' loro fratelli.	38 And Macelloth beget Samaan: these dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 Ner generò Cis; e Cis generò Saul; e Saul generò Ionatan e Melchisua e Abinadab ed Esbaal.	39 Now Ner beget Cia: and Cis begot Saul: and Saul beget Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.
40 E il figliuolo di Ionatan fue Meribbaal; e Meribbaal generò Mica.	40 And the son of Jonathan, was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal beget Micha.
41 E i figliuoli di Mica: Fiton e Melec e Taraa e Aaz.	41 And the sons of Micha, were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.
42 E Aaz generò Iara; e Iara generò Alamat e Azmot e Zamri; e Zamri generò Mosa.	42 And Ahaz beget Jara, and Jara beget Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri. And Zamri beget Mesa.
43 E Mosa generò Banaa, figliuolo del quale fu Rafaia; Rafaia generò Elasa, del quale nacque Asel.	43 And Mesa beget Banaa: whose son Raphaia beget Elasa: of whom was born Asel.
44 Ed Asel ebbe VI figliuoli, i quali ebbono così nome: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismael, Saria, Obdia e Anan; questi furono figliuoli di Asel.	44 And heel had six sons whose names are, Ezricam, Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, Hanan: these are the sons of Asel.
