2 Signore, per la tua potenza il re si allieta, e per la salvezza, da te donata, grandemente esulta.	2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, give you support from Zion!
3 Tu hai adempiti i desideri del suo cuore e non hai resi vani i voti delle sue labbra.	3 May he remember al your sacrifices and delight in your burnt offerings! Pause
4 Infatti l'hai prevenuto colle più dolci benedizioni, hai posta sulla sua testa una corona di pietre preziose.	4 May he grant you your heart's desire and crown al your plans with success!
5 Egli ti chiese la vita, e tu gli hai concesso una vita lunga, per sempre, in eterno.	5 So that with joy we can hail your victory and draw up our ranks in the name of our God. May Yahwehgrant all your petitions.
6 Grande è la sua gloria per la salvezza avuta da te: lo hai ricoperto di gloria e di grande splendore.	6 Now I know that Yahweh gives victory to his anointed. He wil respond from his holy heavens withgreat deeds of victory from his right hand.

11 Farai sparire dalla terra la loro prole, la loro stirpe di mezzo ai figli degli uomini,
12 Perchè ti prepararono rovine, contro di te ordirono trame che non potranno effettuare.
13 Tu farai loro voltare le spalle, a quelli che restano percuoterai la faccia.
14 Sorgi nella tua potenza, o Signore, e noi canteremo, celebreremo con salmi le tue maraviglie.
