Deuteronomio (تثنية) 14

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 انتم اولاد للرب الهكم. لا تخمشوا اجسامكم ولا تجعلوا قرعة بين اعينكم لاجل ميت.	1 'You are children of Yahweh your God. You must not gash yourselves or shave your foreheads for thedead.
2 لانك شعب مقدس للرب الهك وقد اختارك الرب لكي تكون له شعبا خاصّا فوق جميع الشعوب الذين على وجه الارض	2 For you are a people consecrated to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be his ownpeople from al the peoples on the earth.
3 لا تأكل رجسا ما.	3 'You must not eat anything disgusting.
4 هذه هي البهائم التي تأكلونها. البقر والضأن والمعز	4 These are the animals you may eat: ox, sheep, goat,
5 والايل والظبي واليحمور والوعل والرئم والثيتل والمهاة.	5 deer, gazel e, roebuck, ibex, antelope, oryx, mountain sheep.
6 وكل بهيمة من البهائم تشق ظلفا وتقسمه ظلفين وتجترّ فاياها تاكلون.	6 You may eat any animal that has a divided and cloven hoof and that is a ruminant.
7 الا هذه فلا تأكلوها مما يجترّ ومما يشق الظلف المنقسم. الجمل والارنب والوبر لانها تجترّ لكنها لا تشق ظلفا فهي نجسة لكم.	7 Of those, however, that are ruminants and of those that have a divided and cloven hoof you may noteat the fol owing: the camel, the hare and the coney, which are ruminants but have no cloven hoof; you mustclass them as unclean.
8 والخنزير لانه يشق الظلف لكنه لا يجترّ فهو نجس لكم. فمن لحمها لا تأكلوا وجثثها لا تلمسوا	8 So also the pig, which though it has a cloven hoof is not a ruminant; you must class it as unclean. Youmust neither eat the meat of such animals nor touch their dead bodies.
9 وهذا تأكلونه من كل ما في المياه. كل ما له زعانف وحرشف تأكلونه.	9 'Of whatever lives in water you may eat the fol owing: you may eat anything that has fins and scales.
10 لكن كل ما ليس له زعانف وحرشف لا تأكلوه. انه نجس لكم	10 But you must not eat anything without fins and scales: you must class it as unclean.
11 كل طير طاهر تأكلون.	11 'You may eat al clean birds,
12 وهذا ما لا تأكلون منه. النسر والانوق والعقاب	12 but the fol owing birds you must not eat: the tawny vulture, the griffon, the osprey,
13 والحدأة والباشق والشاهين على اجناسه	13 the kite and the several kinds of buzzard,
14 وكل غراب على اجناسه	14 al kinds of raven,
15 والنعامة والظليم والسأف والباز على اجناسه	15 the ostrich, the screech owl, the seagul , the several kinds of hawk,
16 والبوم والكركي والبجع	16 owl, barn owl, ibis,
17 والقوق والرّخم والغوّاص	17 pelican, white vulture, cormorant,
18 واللقلق والببغا على اجناسه والهدهد والخفّاش.	18 stork, the several kinds of heron, hoopoe and bat.
19 وكل دبيب الطير نجس لكم. لا يؤكل.	19 You are to class al winged insects as unclean and must not eat them.
20 كل طير طاهر تأكلون	20 You may eat any clean fowl.
21 لا تأكلوا جثة ما. تعطيها للغريب الذي في ابوابك فيأكلها او يبيعها لاجنبيّ لانك شعب مقدس للرب الهك. لا تطبخ جديا بلبن امه	21 'You must not eat any animal that has died a natural death. You may give it to a resident foreigner toeat, or sel it to a foreigner. For you are a people consecrated to Yahweh your God. 'You must not boil a kid in itsmother's milk.
22 تعشيرا تعشر كل محصول زرعك الذي يخرج من الحقل سنة بسنة.	22 'Every year, you must take a tithe of what your fields produce from what you have sown
23 وتأكل امام الرب الهك في المكان الذي يختاره ليحل اسمه فيه عشر حنطتك وخمرك وزيتك وابكار بقرك وغنمك لكي تتعلم ان تتقي الرب الهك كل الايام.	23 and, in the presence of Yahweh your God, in the place where he chooses to give his name a home,you must eat the tithe of your wheat, of your new wine and of your oil, and the first-born of your herd and flock;and by so doing, you wil learn always to fear Yahweh your God.
24 ولكن اذا طال عليك الطريق حتى لا تقدر ان تحمله. اذا كان بعيدا عليك المكان الذي يختاره الرب الهك ليجعل اسمه فيه اذ يباركك الرب الهك	24 'If the road is too long for you, if you cannot bring your tithe because the place in which Yahwehchooses to make a home for his name is too far away, when Yahweh your God has blessed you,
25 فبعه بفضة وصرّ الفضة في يدك واذهب الى المكان الذي يختاره الرب الهك	25 you must convert it into money and, with the money clasped in your hand, you must go to the placechosen by Yahweh your God;
26 وانفق الفضة في كل ما تشته نفسك في البقر والغنم والخمر والمسكر وكل ما تطلب منك نفسك وكل هناك امام الرب الهك وافرح انت وبيتك.	26 there you may spend the money on whatever you like, oxen, sheep, wine, fermented liquor, anythingyou please. There you must eat in the presence of Yahweh your God and rejoice, you and your household.
27 واللاوي الذي في ابوابك لا تتركه لانه ليس له قسم ولا نصيب معك	27 Do not neglect the Levite living in your community, since he has no share or heritage of his ownamong you.
28 في آخر ثلاث سنين تخرج كل عشر محصولك في تلك السنة وتضعه في ابوابك.	28 'At the end of every three years, you must take al the tithes of your harvests for that year and col ectthem in your community.
29 فيأتي اللاوي لانه ليس له قسم ولا نصيب معك والغريب واليتيم والارملة الذين في ابوابك وياكلون ويشبعون لكي يباركك الرب الهك في كل عمل يدك الذي تعمل	29 Then the Levite -- since he has no share or heritage of his own among you -- the foreigner, theorphan and the widow living in your community, wil come and eat all they want. And so Yahweh your God wilbless you in al the labours that you undertake.'
