1 Alleluia. Lodate il nome del Signore, lodatelo, servi del Signore,	1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
2 voi che state nella casa del Signore, negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.	2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 Lodate il Signore, poiché è buono, inneggiate al suo nome, poiché è amabile.	3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 Sì, il Signore s'è scelto Giacobbe, Israele quale suo possesso.	4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 Io riconosco che il Signore è grande, superiore è il nostro Signore a tutti gli dèi.	5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Tutto ciò che ha voluto il Signore l'ha fatto: nei cieli e sulla terra, sui mari e in tutti gli abissi.	6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 Egli fa salire le nubi dalle estremità della terra; produce le folgori per la pioggia, fa uscire i venti dalle sue riserve.	7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 Egli colpì i primogeniti d'Egitto, dagli uomini fino al bestiame.	8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Mandò segni e portenti in mezzo a te, Egitto, contro il faraone e tutti i suoi servi.	9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Egli colpì numerose nazioni, uccise re potenti:	10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Seon, re degli Amorrei, e Og, re di Basan, insieme a tutti i regni di Canaan.	11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 Diede la loro terra in eredità, in eredità a Israele, suo popolo.	12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 Signore, il tuo nome è per sempre, Signore, il tuo ricordo di età in età.	13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 Sì, il Signore farà giustizia del suo popolo, si muoverà a compassione dei suoi servi.	14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 Gl'idoli delle nazioni sono argento e oro, opera di mani d'uomo:	15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 hanno bocca e non parlano; hanno occhi e non vedono.	16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 Hanno orecchi e non odono; non c'è respiro nella loro bocca.	17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Siano come loro quelli che li fabbricano, chiunque confida in essi!	18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 Voi della casa d'Israele, benedite il Signore; voi della casa di Aronne, benedite il Signore;	19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 voi della casa di Levi, benedite il Signore; voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore.	20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 Sia benedetto il Signore da Sion, lui che abita in Gerusalemme. Alleluia.	21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
