Ezekiel 32

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 El año duodécimo, el primer día del duodécimo mes, la palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.	2 Hijo de hombre, entona una lamentación sobre el Faraón, rey de Egipto. Tú le dirás: ¡Estás perdido, león de las naciones! Tú, como un dragón en los mares, resoplabas con tus narices, enturbiabas el agua con tus patas y agitabas sus corrientes.
3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,	3 Así habla el Señor: Yo tenderé mi red sobre ti en la asamblea de las naciones numerosas y ellas te alzarán con mis redes.
4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.	4 Te estrellaré contra el suelo, te arrojaré en pleno campo, y haré que se posen sobre ti todos los pájaros del cielo y que se sacien contigo todas las bestias de la tierra.
5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;	5 Pondré tu carne sobre las montañas y llenaré los valles con tus despojos.
6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.	6 Regaré la tierra con el flujo de tu sangre hasta la cima de las montañas, y los cauces de los ríos se llenarán de ella.
7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.	7 Y cuando te hayas extinguido, yo cubriré los cielos y oscureceré las estrellas, cubriré el sol con una nube y la luna no hará brillar su luz
8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.	8 Oscureceré a causa de ti todos los astros luminosos del cielo, y envolveré a tu país en las tinieblas –oráculo del Señor–.
9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.	9 Yo afligiré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando yo lleve a tus cautivos entre las naciones, a países que tú no conocías.
10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.	10 Dejaré consternados por tu causa a pueblos numerosos; se erizarán los cabellos de sus reyes, a causa de ti, cuando levante mi espada contra ellos, y temblarán estremecidos, cada uno por su propia vida, en el día de tu caída.
11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.	11 Porque así habla el Señor: La espada del rey de Babilonia te alcanzará
12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.	12 Por la espada de guerreros, los más feroces entre las naciones, yo haré caer a tu multitud. Ellos abatirán la soberbia de Egipto y toda su multitud será destruida.
13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;	13 Haré perecer todo su ganado del borde de las aguas caudalosas: ya no las enturbiará el pie del hombre ni la pezuña de los animales.
14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Entonces haré que sus aguas queden limpias, y que sus ríos corran como el aceite –oráculo del Señor–.
15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.	15 Y cuando convierta a Egipto en una desolación y el país sea despojado de todo lo que lo llena, cuando hiera a todos los que lo habitan, se sabrá que yo soy el señor.
16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	16 Esta es una lamentación que entonarán las hijas de las naciones. La entonarán sobre Egipto y sobre toda su multitud –oráculo del Señor–.
17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	17 El Año duodécimo, el día quince del mes, la palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.	18 Hijo de hombre, entona un canto fúnebre sobre la multitud de Egipto y húndela, a ella y a las capitales de las naciones más ilustres, en las regiones más profundas, con los que bajan a la Fosa.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,	19 ¿Eres tú más privilegiado que otros? ¡Baja y acuéstate con los incircuncisos!
20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.	20 Ellos caerán entre las víctimas de la espada. Una espada está dispuesta: ¡arrastren a Egipto y a toda su multitud!
21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."	21 Entonces los más fuertes guerreros y sus ayudantes les dirán, desde el medio del Abismo: «¡Han bajado y yacen tendidos los incircuncisos, víctimas de la espada!».
22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;	22 Allí está Asiria con toda su asamblea en torno de su tumba, víctimas todos ellos, caídos bajo la espada.
23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.	23 Su tumba ha sido puesta en lo más hondo de la Fosa y su asamblea está en torno de su tumba: ¡son todos víctimas, los caídos bajo la espada, los que sembraban el terror por la tierra de los vivientes!
24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	24 Allí está Elaín con toda su multitud en torno de su tumba, víctimas todos ellos, caídos bajo la espada: ¡son los que bajaron incircuncisos a las regiones profundas, los que expandían el terror por la tierra de los vivientes! Ahora cargan con su ignominia, junto con los que bajan a la Fosa.
25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.	25 Se le ha puesto un lecho en medio de las víctimas, con toda su multitud en torno de su tumba: son los incircuncisos, víctimas de la espada, porque sembraron el terror por la tierra de los vivientes, Ahora cargan con su ignominia junto con los que bajan a la Fosa, y han sido puestos en medio de las víctimas.
26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.	26 Allí están Mésec, Tubal y toda su multitud en torno de su tumba, todos incircuncisos, atravesados por la espada, porque expandieron el terror por la tierra de los vivientes.
27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.	27 Ellos no yacen con los héroes caídos antiguamente –con los que bajaron al Abismo con sus armas de guerra, con sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas y sus escudos sobre sus restos– porque el terror de los héroes reinaba en la tierra de los vivientes.
28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.	28 Tú, en cambio, yacerás en medio de los incircuncisos, con las víctimas de la espada.
29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.	29 Allí está Edom, con sus reyes y todos sus príncipes que, a pesar de su poderío, fueron puestos entre las víctimas de la espada. Ellos yacen entre los incircuncisos, entre los que bajaron a la fosa.
30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	30 Allí están todos los príncipes del Norte y todos los sidonios, que bajaron avergonzados junto con las víctimas, a pesar del terror que inspiraba su bravura, Yacen incircuncisos entre las víctimas de la espada, y cargan con su ignominia junto con los que bajan a la Fosa.
31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	31 El Faraón los verá y se consolará a la vista de toda esa multitud. El Faraón y todo su ejército serán víctimas de la espada –oráculo del Señor–.
32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'	32 Sí, yo dejé que sembrara el terror en la tierra de los vivientes, pero yacerá en medio de los incircuncisos, junto con las víctimas de la espada, el Faraón y toda su multitud –oráculo del Señor–.
