Isaiah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 And, that day, you wil say: 'I praise you, Yahweh, you have been angry with me but your anger is nowappeased and you have comforted me.	1 On that day, you will say: I give you thanks, O LORD; though you have been angry with me, your anger has abated, and you have consoled me.
2 Look, he is the God of my salvation: I shal have faith and not be afraid, for Yahweh is my strength andmy song, he has been my salvation.'	2 God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior.
3 Joyfully you wil draw water from the springs of salvation	3 With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation,
4 and, that day, you wil say, 'Praise Yahweh, invoke his name. Proclaim his deeds to the people, declarehis name sublime.	4 and say on that day: Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name; among the nations make known his deeds, proclaim how exalted is his name.
5 Sing of Yahweh, for his works are majestic, make them known throughout the world.	5 Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement; let this be known throughout all the earth.
6 Cry and shout for joy, you who live in Zion, For the Holy One of Israel is among you in his greatness.'	6 Shout with exultation, O city of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel!
