1 He made a bronze altar, twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.	1 Fece anche un altare di rame, lungo venti cubiti, largo venti cubiti, alto dieci cubiti.
2 He made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from rim to rim, circular in shape and five cubits high; a cordthirty cubits long gave the measurement of its girth.	2 Fece il mare di getto, che aveva dieci cubiti, da un orlo all'altro, era perfettamente rotondo, era alto cinque cubiti. Una corda di trenta cubiti abbracciava tutta la sua circonferenza;
3 Under it and completely encircling it were things like oxen, ten to the cubit round the entire Sea; theoxen were in two rows, of one and the same casting with the rest.	3 sotto di essa aveva figure di buoi, e, al di fuori, delle sculture, divise come in due ordini, attorniavano per dieci cubiti la superficie del mare. 4 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, three facing east; onthese, their hindquarters al turned inwards, stood the Sea.	4 Il mare posava sopra dodici buoi, dei quali tre erari volti a settentrione, tre a occidente, tre a mezzodì e gli ultimi tre a levante. Essi sostenevano il mare e le loro parti posteriori eran di dentro sotto il mare.
5 It was a hand's breadth in thickness, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup-lily-shaped. It couldhold three thousand bat.	5 Il mare aveva lo spessore d'un palmo, il suo orlo era come quello d'un calice o di un giglio sbocciato, e conteneva tre mila metrete.
6 He made ten basins, putting five on the right and five on the left, for washing in; the things to be offeredas burnt offerings were to be rinsed in these, but the Sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 Fece anche dieci conche, e ne collocò cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra, per lavarvi tutto quel­lo che doveva essere offerto in olocausto; nel mare poi ci si lavavano i sacerdoti.
7 He made the ten golden lamp-stands according to the pattern and placed them in the Hekal, five on theright and five on the left.	7 Fece anche dieci candelabri d'oro secondo la forma prescritta, e li pose nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra.
8 He made ten tables which he set up in the Hekal, five on the right and five on the left. He also made ahundred golden sprinkling bowls.	8 Così pure dieci mense, e le collocò nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra; ed anche cento fiale d'oro.
9 He made the court of the priests and the great court with its gates and plated the gates with bronze.	9 Fece inoltre l'atrio pei sacerdoti e il gran portico, e, nel portico, le porte, che rivestì di rame.
10 The Sea he placed on the right-hand side of the Temple, to the south-east.	10 Il mare lo collocò dal lato destro verso levante, dalla parte meridionale.
11 Huram made the ash containers, the scoops and the sprinkling bowls. Thus Huram completed al thework done for King Solomon for the Temple of God:	11 Hiram fece le caldaie, i forchettoni, le fiale, e compì tutti i lavori del re nella casa di Dio,
12 the two pillars; the mouldings of the capitals surmounting the two pil ars; the two sets of filigree tocover the two mouldings of the capitals surmounting the pil ars;	12 cioè le due colonne cogli epistilii, i capitelli e le specie di reti che coprivano i capitelli al disopra degli epistilii,
13 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of filigree -- two rows of pomegranates for each set offiligree;	13 e le quattrocento melagrane e le due reti, messe in modo che due ordini di melagrai ne erano imiti a ciascuna delle reti che coprivano gli epistilii e i capitelli delle colonne.
14 the ten stands and the ten basins on the stands;	14 Fece anche le basi e le conche che pose sopra le basi,
15 the one Sea and the twelve oxen beneath it;	15 e il mare unico, i dodici buoi che eran sotto il mare,
16 the ash containers, scoops and forks. Al these utensils made by Huram-Abi for King Solomon for theTemple of Yahweh were of burnished bronze.	16 e caldaie, i forchettoni e le coppe. Hiram suo padre fece a Salomone tutti i vasi per la casa del Signore con rame purissimo.

19 Solomon made al the objects designed for the Temple of God, as wel as the golden altar and thetables for the loaves of permanent offering;	19 Cosi Salomone fece tutti que­sti vasi della casa di Dio, e l'altare d'oro, e le mense sulle quali si mettevano i pani di proposizione.
20 the lamp-stands with their lamps to burn, as prescribed, in front of the Debir, of pure gold;	20 Fece pure d'oro finissimo i candelabri colle lampade, per far lume dinanzi all'oracolo, secondo il rito,
21 the floral work, the lamps, the tongs, of gold (and it was pure gold);	21 e così pure i fiori, le lucerne e le molle d'oro. Tutte que­ste cose furon fatte d'oro finissimo.
22 the snuffers, the sprinkling bowls, incense ladles and the pans, of real gold; and the entrance to theTemple, the inner doors (for the Holy of Holies) and the doors of the Temple itself, that is of the Hekal, were alsomade of gold.	22 Anche i braceri, i turiboli, le coppe e i mortai eran di oro finissimo. Le porte del tempio interiore, cioè del Santo dei Santi, eran d'intaglio; e le porte del tempio al di fuori eran d'oro. Così fu compiuto tutto il lavoro che Salomone fece nella casa del Si­gnore.
