NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Tysiąclecia
1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, to whom sons were born afterthe flood:	1 Oto potomstwo synów Noego: Sema, Chama i Jafeta. Po potopie urodzili się im następujący synowie:
2 Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.	2 Synowie Jafeta: Gomer, Magog, Madaj, Jawan, Tubal, Meszek i Tiras.
3 Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.	3 Synowie Gomera: Aszkanaz, Rifat i Togarma.
4 Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.	4 Synowie Jawana: Elisza i Tarszisz, Kittim i Dodanim.
5 From these came the dispersal to the islands of the nations. These were Japheth's sons, in theirrespective countries, each with its own language, by clan and nation.	5 Od nich pochodzą mieszkańcy wybrzeży i wysp, podzieleni według swych krajów i swego języka, według szczepów i według narodów.
6 Ham's sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.	6 Synowie Chama: Kusz, Misraim, Put i Kanaan.
7 Cush's sons: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. Raamah's sons: Sheba, Dedan.	7 Synowie Kusza: Seba, Chawila, Sabta, Rama i Sabteka. Synowie Ramy: Saba i Dedan.
8 Cush fathered Nimrod who was the first potentate on earth.	8 Kusz zaś zrodził Nimroda, który był pierwszym mocarzem na ziemi.
9 He was a mighty hunter in the eyes of Yahweh, hence the saying, 'Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter in theeyes of Yahweh'.	9 Był on też najsławniejszym na ziemi myśliwym. Stąd powstało przysłowie: Dzielny jak Nimrod, najsławniejszy na ziemi myśliwy.
10 The mainstays of his empire were Babel, Erech and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.	10 On to pierwszy panował w Babelu, w Erek, w Akkad i w Kalne, w kraju Szinear.
11 From this country came Asshur, and he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,	11 Wyszedłszy z tego kraju do Aszszuru, zbudował Niniwę, Rechobot-Ir, Kalach
12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (this being the capital).	12 i Resan, wielkie miasto pomiędzy Niniwą a Kalach.
13 Mizraim fathered the people of Lud, of Anam, Lehab, Naphtuh,	13 Misraim miał jako potomstwo: Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naftuchim,
14 Pathros, Casluh and Caphtor, from which the Philistines came.	14 Patrusim i Kasluchim, od których pochodzą Filistyni i Kaftoryci.
15 Canaan fathered Sidon, his first-born, then Heth,	15 Kanaan zaś miał synów: pierworodnego Sydona i Cheta.
16 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, Girgashites,	16 A ponadto: Jebusytów, Amorytów, Girgaszytów,
17 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,	17 Chiwwitów, Arkitów, Sinitów,
18 Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later, the Canaanite clans spread out.	18 Arwadytów, Semarytów i Chamatytów. A potem szczepy kananejskie rozproszyły się.
19 The Canaanite frontier stretched from Sidon al the way to Gerar near Gaza, and al the way toSodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboi m near Lesha.	19 Granica Kananejczyków biegła od Sydonu w kierunku Geraru aż do Gazy, a potem w kierunku Sodomy, Gomory, Admy i Seboim - aż do Leszy.
20 These were Ham's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	20 Są to potomkowie Chama według ich szczepów, języków, krajów i narodów.
21 Shem too fathered sons, being ancestor of all the sons of Eber and Japheth's elder brother.	21 Również Semowi, praojcu wszystkich Hebrajczyków i starszemu bratu Jafeta, urodzili się [synowie].
22 Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram.	22 Synowie Sema: Elam, Aszszur, Arpachszad, Lud i Aram.
23 Aram's sons: Uz, Hul, Gether and Mash.	23 Synowie Arama: Us, Chul, Geter i Masz.
24 Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.	24 Arpachszad był ojcem Szelacha, a Szelach Ebera.
25 To Eber were born two sons: the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided, and his brother was called Joktan.	25 Eberowi urodzili się dwaj synowie; imię jednego Peleg, gdyż za jego czasów ludzkość się podzieliła, imię zaś jego brata - Joktan.
26 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,	26 Joktan był ojcem Almodada, Szelefa, Chasarmaweta, Jeracha,
27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,	27 Hadorama, Uzala, Dikli,
28 Obal, Abima-El, Sheba,	28 Obala, Abimaela, Saby,
29 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these were sons of Joktan.	29 Ofira, Chawili i Jobaba. Ci wszyscy byli synami Joktana.
30 They occupied a stretch of country from Mesha all the way to Sephar, the eastern mountain range.	30 Obszar, na którym mieszkali, rozciągał się od Meszy w kierunku Sefar aż do wyżyny wschodniej.
31 These were Shem's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	31 Oto synowie Sema według szczepów, języków, krajów i narodów.
32 Such were the clans of Noah's descendants, listed by descent and nation. From them, other nationsbranched out on earth after the flood.	32 Oto szczepy synów Noego według ich pokrewieństwa i według narodów. Od nich to wywodzą się ludy na ziemi po potopie.
