| 1 Observe le mois d'Abib et célèbre une Pâque pour Yahvé ton Dieu, car c'est au mois d'Abibque Yahvé ton Dieu, la nuit, t'a fait sortir d'Egypte. | 1 "Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover to the LORD your God; for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night. |
| 2 Tu immoleras pour Yahvé ton Dieu une pâque de gros et de petit bétail, au lieu choisi parYahvé ton Dieu pour y faire habiter son nom. | 2 And you shall offer the passover sacrifice to the LORD your God, from the flock or the herd, at the place which the LORD will choose, to make his name dwell there. |
| 3 Tu ne mangeras pas, avec la victime, de pain fermenté; pendant sept jours tu mangeras avecelle des azymes -- un pain de misère -- car c'est en toute hâte que tu as quitté le pays d'Egypte: ainsi tu tesouviendras, tous les jours de ta vie, du jour où tu sortis du pays d'Egypte. | 3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction--for you came out of the land of Egypt in hurried flight--that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt. |
| 4 Pendant sept jours on ne verra pas chez toi de levain, sur tout ton territoire, et de la chair quetu auras sacrifiée le soir du premier jour rien ne devra être gardé jusqu'au lendemain. | 4 No leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory for seven days; nor shall any of the flesh which you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain all night until morning. |
| 5 Tu ne pourras pas immoler la pâque dans l'une des villes que Yahvé ton Dieu t'aura données, | 5 You may not offer the passover sacrifice within any of your towns which the LORD your God gives you; |
| 6 mais c'est au lieu choisi par Yahvé ton Dieu pour y faire habiter son nom que tu immoleras lapâque, le soir au coucher du soleil, à l'heure de ta sortie d'Egypte. | 6 but at the place which the LORD your God will choose, to make his name dwell in it, there you shall offer the passover sacrifice, in the evening at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. |
| 7 Tu la feras cuire et tu la mangeras au lieu choisi par Yahvé ton Dieu, puis, au matin, tu t'enretourneras et tu iras à tes tentes. | 7 And you shall boil it and eat it at the place which the LORD your God will choose; and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. |
| 8 Pendant six jours tu mangeras des azymes; au septième jour une réunion aura lieu pourYahvé ton Dieu; et tu ne feras aucun travail. | 8 For six days you shall eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God; you shall do no work on it. |
| 9 Tu compteras sept semaines. Quand la faucille aura commencé à couper les épis, alors tucommenceras à compter ces sept semaines. | 9 "You shall count seven weeks; begin to count the seven weeks from the time you first put the sickle to the standing grain. |
| 10 Puis tu célébreras pour Yahvé ton Dieu la fête des Semaines, avec l'offrande volontaire quefera ta main, selon ce dont Yahvé ton Dieu te bénit. | 10 Then you shall keep the feast of weeks to the LORD your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the LORD your God blesses you; |
| 11 En présence de Yahvé ton Dieu tu te réjouiras, au lieu choisi par Yahvé ton Dieu pour yfaire habiter son nom: toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, le lévite qui est dans tes portes,l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve qui vivent au milieu de toi. | 11 and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your son and your daughter, your manservant and your maidservant, the Levite who is within your towns, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place which the LORD your God will choose, to make his name dwell there. |
| 12 Tu te souviendras que tu as été en servitude au pays d'Egypte, et tu garderas ces lois pourles mettre en pratique. | 12 You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes. |
| 13 Tu célébreras la fête des Tentes pendant sept jours, au moment où tu rentreras le produit deton aire et de ton pressoir. | 13 "You shall keep the feast of booths seven days, when you make your ingathering from your threshing floor and your wine press; |
| 14 Tu te réjouiras à ta fête, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, le lévite etl'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve qui sont dans tes portes. | 14 you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your manservant and your maidservant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns. |
| 15 Pendant sept jours tu feras fête à Yahvé ton Dieu au lieu choisi par Yahvé; car Yahvé tonDieu te bénira dans toutes tes récoltes et dans tous tes travaux, pour que tu sois pleinement joyeux. | 15 For seven days you shall keep the feast to the LORD your God at the place which the LORD will choose; because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful. |
| 16 Trois fois par an, on verra tous les mâles de chez toi, devant Yahvé ton Dieu, au lieu qu'ilaura choisi: à la fête des Azymes, à la fête des Semaines, à la fête des Tentes. Aucun ne se présentera les mainsvides devant Yahvé; | 16 "Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God at the place which he will choose: at the feast of unleavened bread, at the feast of weeks, and at the feast of booths. They shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed; |
| 17 mais chacun donnera, à la mesure de la bénédiction que Yahvé ton Dieu t'aura donnée. | 17 every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which he has given you. |
| 18 Tu établiras des juges et des scribes, en chacune des villes que Yahvé ton Dieu te donne,pour toutes tes tribus; ils jugeront le peuple en des jugements justes. | 18 "You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. |
| 19 Tu ne feras pas dévier le droit, tu n'auras pas égard aux personnes et tu n'accepteras pas deprésent, car le présent aveugle les yeux des sages et ruine les causes des justes. | 19 You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality; and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. |
| 20 C'est la stricte justice que tu rechercheras, afin de vivre et de posséder le pays que Yahvéton Dieu te donne. | 20 Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you. |
| 21 Tu ne planteras pas de pieu sacré, de quelque bois que ce soit, à côté de l'autel de Yahvé tonDieu que tu te seras bâti, | 21 "You shall not plant any tree as an Asherah beside the altar of the LORD your God which you shall make. |
| 22 et tu ne dresseras pas de stèle, qui serait odieuse à Yahvé ton Dieu. | 22 And you shall not set up a pillar, which the LORD your God hates. |
