JERUSALEM	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Il me fit voir Josué, le grand prêtre, qui se tenait devant l'ange de Yahvé, tandis que le Satan étaitdebout à sa droite pour l'accuser.	1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, while Satan stood at his right hand to accuse him.
2 L'ange de Yahvé dit au Satan: "Que Yahvé te réprime, Satan; que Yahvé te réprime, lui qui a faitchoix de Jérusalem. Celui-ci n'est-il pas un tison tiré du feu?"	2 And the angel of the LORD said to Satan, "May the LORD rebuke you, Satan; may the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?"
3 Or Josué était vêtu d'habits sales lorsqu'il se tenait devant l'ange.	3 Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clad in filthy garments.
4 Prenant la parole, celui-ci parla en ces termes à ceux qui se tenaient devant lui: "Enlevez-lui seshabits sales et revêtez-le d'habits somptueux; et lui dit: "Vois, j'ai enlevé de dessus toi ton iniquité."	4 He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy garments, and clothe him in festal garments."
5 Mettez sur sa tête une tiare propre. On mit sur sa tête une tiare propre et on le revêtit d'habitspropres. L'ange de Yahvé se tenait debout	5 He also said, "Put a clean miter on his head." And they put a clean miter on his head and clothed him with the garments. Then the angel of the LORD, standing, said, "See, I have taken away your guilt."
6 Puis l'ange de Yahvé fit cette déclaration à Josué:	6 The angel of the LORD then gave Joshua this assurance:
7 "Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Si tu marches dans mes voies et gardes mes observances, tugouverneras ma maison, tu garderas mes parvis et je te donnerai accès parmi ceux qui se tiennent ici.	7 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you walk in my ways and heed my charge, you shall judge my house and keep my courts, and I will give you access among these standing here.
8 Ecoute donc, Josué, grand prêtre, toi et tes compagnons qui siègent devant toi - car ils sont deshommes de présage --: Voici que je vais introduire mon serviteur "Germe",	8 Listen, O Joshua, high priest! You and your associates who sit before you are men of good omen. Yes, I will bring my servant the Shoot.
9 Car voici la pierre que je place devant Josué; sur cette unique pierre, il y a sept yeux; voici que jevais graver moi-même son inscription, oracle de Yahvé Sabaot." Et j'écarterai l'iniquité de ce pays, en un seuljour.	9 Look at the stone that I have placed before Joshua, one stone with seven facets. I will engrave its inscription, says the LORD of hosts, and I will take away the guilt of the land in one day.
10 Ce jour-là - oracle de Yahvé Sabaot - vous vous inviterez l'un l'autre sous la vigne et sous lefiguier.	10 On that day, says the LORD of hosts, you will invite one another under your vines and fig trees."
