JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Et maintenant, écoute, Jacob mon serviteur, Israël que j'ai choisi.	1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Ainsi parle Yahvé, qui t'a fait, qui t'a modelé dès le sein maternel, qui te soutient. Sois sans crainte,Jacob mon serviteur, Yeshurûn que j'ai choisi.	2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 Car je vais répandre de l'eau sur le sol assoiffé et des ruisseaux sur la terre desséchée; je répandraimon esprit sur ta race et ma bénédiction sur tes descendants.	3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 Ils germeront comme parmi les herbages, comme les saules au bord de l'eau.	4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 Celui-ci dira: Je suis à Yahvé, et cet autre se réclamera du nom de Jacob. Celui-là écrira sur sa main:"à Yahvé", et on lui donnera le nom d'Israël.	5 One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
6 Ainsi parle Yahvé, roi d'Israël, Yahvé Sabaot, son rédempteur: Je suis le premier et je suis le dernier,à part moi, il n'y a pas de dieu.	6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7 Qui est comme moi? Qu'il crie, qu'il le proclame et me l'expose; depuis que j'ai constitué un peupleéternel, ce qui se passe, qu'il le dise, et ce qui doit arriver, qu'il le leur annonce.	7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8 Ne vous effrayez pas, soyez sans crainte, dès longtemps ne vous l'ai-je pas annoncé et révélé? Vousêtes mes témoins. Y aurait-il un dieu à part moi? Il n'y a pas de Rocher, je n'en connais pas!	8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
9 Néant, tous ceux qui modèlent des idoles, leurs meilleures oeuvres ne servent à rien! Elles sont leurstémoins, qui ne voient ni ne savent rien, en sorte qu'ils seront couverts de honte.	9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
10 Qui a façonné un dieu et fondu une idole qui ne peuvent servir à rien?	10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
11 Voici que tous ses fidèles seront couverts de honte, ainsi que ses artisans qui ne sont que deshommes. Qu'ils se rassemblent tous, qu'ils comparaissent; qu'ils soient remplis à la fois d'épouvante et de honte!	11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12 Le forgeron fabrique une hache sur des braises, il la façonne au marteau, il la travaille à la force deson bras. Et puis il a faim et perd sa force, n'ayant pas bu d'eau il est épuisé.	12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
13 Le sculpteur sur bois tend le cordeau, trace l'image à la craie, l'exécute au ciseau et la dessine aucompas, il l'exécute à l'image de l'homme, selon la beauté humaine, pour qu'elle habite une maison.	13 The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
14 Il a coupé des cèdres, il a choisi un chêne et un térébinthe qu'il a laissés croître pour lui parmi lesarbres de la forêt. Il a planté un pin que la pluie a fait grandir.	14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
15 Les hommes le destinent au feu: il en a pris pour se chauffer, il l'a allumé et a cuit du pain. Maisaussi il a fait un dieu pour l'adorer, il a fabriqué une idole pour se prosterner devant elle.	15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
16 Il en avait brûlé la moitié au feu, sur cette moitié il fait rôtir de la viande, la mange et se rassasie; enmême temps il se chauffe et dit: "Ah! je me suis bien chauffé et j'ai vu la flamme."	16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
17 Avec le reste il fait un dieu, son idole, et il se prosterne devant lui, l'adore et le prie et dit: "Sauve-moi, car tu es mon dieu."	17 And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
18 Ils ne savent pas, ils ne comprennent pas, car leurs yeux sont incapables de voir, et leur coeur deréfléchir.	18 They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19 Pas un ne rentre en lui-même, pas un n'a la connaissance et l'intelligence de se dire: "J'en ai brûlé lamoitié au feu et j'ai cuit du pain sur ses braises, je rôtis de la viande et je la mange; avec le reste je ferais unechose abominable, me prosterner devant un bout de bois!"	19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
20 Il est attaché à de la cendre, son coeur abusé l'a égaré, il ne sauvera pas sa vie, il ne dira pas: "Ce quej'ai dans la main, n'est-ce pas un leurre?"	20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
21 Souviens-toi de cela, Jacob, et toi Israël, car tu es mon serviteur. Je t'ai modelé, tu es pour moi unserviteur, Israël, je ne t'oublierai pas.	21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22 J'ai dissipé tes crimes comme un nuage et tes péchés comme une nuée; reviens à moi, car je t'airacheté.	22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23 Criez de joie, cieux, car Yahvé a agi, hurlez, profondeurs de la terre, poussez, montagnes, des cris dejoie, forêt, et tous les arbres qu'elle contient! car Yahvé a racheté Jacob, il s'est glorifié en Israël.	23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
24 Ainsi parle Yahvé, ton rédempteur, celui qui t'a modelé dès le sein maternel, c'est moi, Yahvé, qui aifait toutes choses, qui seul ai déployé les cieux, affermi la terre, sans personne avec moi;	24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25 qui réduis à néant les signes des augures et fais délirer les devins, qui fais reculer les sages et tourneleur science en folie;	25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26 qui confirme la parole de mon serviteur et fais réussir les desseins de mes envoyés; qui dis àJérusalem: "Tu seras habitée", et aux villes de Juda: "Vous serez rebâties et je relèverai les ruines de Jérusalem";	26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27 qui dis à l'abîme: "Dessèche-toi, je vais tarir tes fleuves";	27 That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
28 qui dis à Cyrus: "Mon berger." Il accomplira toute ma volonté, en disant à Jérusalem: "Tu serasreconstruite", et au Temple: "Tu seras rétabli."	28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
