Ezechiel 11

1 Da hob mich der Geist empor und brachte mich zum Osttor am Haus des Herrn, das nach Osten schaut. Vor dem Tor standen fünfundzwanzig Männer. Unter ihnen sah ich Jaasanja, den Sohn Asurs, und Pelatja, den Sohn Benajas, führende Männer im Volk.	1 The Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of the house of the LORD, which faces east. And behold, at the door of the gateway there were twenty-five men; and I saw among them Ja-azaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
2 Er sagte zu mir: Menschensohn, das sind die Männer, die in der Stadt Unheil ersinnen und böse Pläne fassen.	2 And he said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city;
3 Sie sagen: In nächster Zeit braucht man keine Häuser zu bauen. Die Stadt ist der Topf und wir sind das Fleisch.	3 who say, 'The time is not near to build houses; this city is the caldron, and we are the flesh.'
4 Darum tritt als Prophet gegen sie auf, Menschensohn, tritt als Prophet auf!	4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man."
5 Da überfiel mich der Geist des Herrn und er sagte zu mir: Sag: So spricht der Herr: Das habt ihr gesagt, ihr vom Haus Israel. Ich weiß sehr gut, was ihr im Sinn hattet.	5 And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and he said to me, "Say, Thus says the LORD: So you think, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.
6 Ihr habt viele in dieser Stadt erschlagen, die Straßen der Stadt sind voll von Erschlagenen.	6 You have multiplied your slain in this city, and have filled its streets with the slain.
7 Darum - so spricht Gott, der Herr: Das Fleisch, das sind die Erschlagenen, die ihr mitten in der Stadt getötet habt. Der Topf, das ist die Stadt. Euch aber werde ich aus ihr vertreiben.	7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but you shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.
8 Das Schwert fürchtet ihr; darum werde ich das Schwert über euch bringen - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.	8 You have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword upon you, says the Lord GOD.
9 Ich vertreibe euch aus der Stadt, ich liefere euch den Fremden aus und halte ein Strafgericht über euch ab.	9 And I will bring you forth out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of foreigners, and execute judgments upon you.
10 Unter dem Schwert werdet ihr fallen. An Israels Grenze halte ich Gericht über euch. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.	10 You shall fall by the sword; I will judge you at the border of Israel; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
11 Die Stadt wird für euch nicht der Topf sein und ihr nicht das Fleisch darin. An Israels Grenze halte ich Gericht über euch.	11 This city shall not be your caldron, nor shall you be the flesh in the midst of it; I will judge you at the border of Israel;
12 Daran werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin, dessen Gesetze ihr nicht gehalten und dessen Rechtsvorschriften ihr nicht befolgt habt. Stattdessen habt ihr nach den Bräuchen der Völker ringsum gehandelt.	12 and you shall know that I am the LORD; for you have not walked in my statutes, nor executed my ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are round about you."
13 Während ich diese prophetischen Worte sprach, starb Pelatja, der Sohn Benajas. Da fiel ich nieder auf mein Gesicht, schrie laut auf und rief: Ach, Herr und Gott, willst du auch noch den Rest Israels ausrotten?	13 And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, "Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?"
14 Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:	14 And the word of the LORD came to me:
15 Menschensohn, die Einwohner Jerusalems sagen von deinen Brüdern, deinen Verwandten und dem ganzen Haus Israel: Sie sind fern vom Herrn; das Land ist uns zum Besitz gegeben.	15 "Son of man, your brethren, even your brethren, your fellow exiles, the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those of whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, 'They have gone far from the LORD; to us this land is given for a possession.'
16 Darum sag: So spricht Gott, der Herr: Auch wenn ich sie weit weg unter die Völker geführt und in alle Länder zerstreut habe, so bin ich doch in den Ländern, wohin sie gekommen sind, beinahe zum Heiligtum für sie geworden.	16 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.'
17 Darum sag: So spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich führe euch aus allen Völkern zusammen, sammle euch aus den Ländern, in die ihr zerstreut seid, und gebe euch das Land Israel.	17 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.'
18 Und sie werden dorthin kommen und alle ihre abscheulichen Götzen aus dem Land entfernen.	18 And when they come there, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations.
19 Ich schenke ihnen ein anderes Herz und schenke ihnen einen neuen Geist. Ich nehme das Herz von Stein aus ihrer Brust und gebe ihnen ein Herz von Fleisch,	19 And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them; I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,
20 damit sie nach meinen Gesetzen leben und auf meine Rechtsvorschriften achten und sie erfüllen. Sie werden mein Volk sein und ich werde ihr Gott sein.	20 that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and obey them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21 Die aber, deren Herz an ihren Götzen und an ihren Gräueltaten hängt - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn: Ihr Verhalten lasse ich auf sie selbst zurückfallen.	21 But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will requite their deeds upon their own heads, says the Lord GOD."
22 Dann hoben die Kerubim ihre Flügel. Die Räder bewegten sich zugleich mit den Kerubim und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels war über ihnen.	22 Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.
23 Die Herrlichkeit des Herrn stieg aus der Mitte der Stadt empor; auf dem Berg im Osten der Stadt blieb sie stehen.	23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
24 Der Geist hob mich empor und brachte mich in dieser göttlichen Vision nach Chaldäa zur Gemeinde der Verschleppten. Dann hob sich das, was ich in der Vision gesehen hatte, empor und verschwand vor meinen Augen.	24 And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me.
25 Und ich erzählte den Verschleppten alles, was der Herr mich hatte sehen lassen.	25 And I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had showed me.
