1 These are the mansions of the children of Israel, who went out of Egypt by their troops under the conduct of Moses and Aaron,	1 Queste sono le tappe dei figli d'Israele che uscirono dalla terra d'Egitto, secondo le loro schiere, sotto la guida di Mosè e Aronne.
2 Which Moses wrote down according to the places of their encamping, which they changed by the commandment of the Lord.	2 Mosè scrisse i loro punti di partenza, secondo le loro tappe, per ordine del Signore: queste sono le loro tappe, secondo i loro punti di partenza.
3 Now the children of Israel departed from Ramesses the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the phase, with a mighty hand, in the eight of all the Egyptians,	3 Partirono da Ramses nel primo mese, il 15 del mese del primo mese. Il giorno dopo la Pasqua, i figli d'Israele uscirono con mano alzata, sotto gli occhi di tutti gli Egiziani,
4 Who were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had slain (upon their gods also he had executed vengeance,)	4 mentre gli Egiziani seppellivano quelli che il Signore aveva colpito tra loro, tutti i primogeniti. Anche dei loro dèi il Signore aveva fatto giustizia.
5 And they camped in Soccoth.	5 I figli d'Israele partirono da Ramses e si accamparono a Succot.
6 And from Soccoth they came into Etham, which is in the uttermost borders of the wilderness.	6 Partirono da Succot e si accamparono a Etam, che è all'estremità del deserto.
7 Departing from thence they came over against Phihahiroth, which looketh towards Beelsephon, and they camped before Magdalum.	7 Partirono da Etam e ripiegarono su Pi-Achirot, che è di fronte a Baal-Zefon: e si accamparono di fronte a Migdol.
8 And departing from Phihahiroth, they passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and having marched three days through the desert of Etham, they camped in Mara.	8 Partirono da Pi-Achirot, passarono in mezzo al mare verso il deserto e per un cammino di tre giorni andarono nel deserto di Etam, accampandosi a Mara.
9 And departing from Mara, they came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees: and there they camped.	9 Partirono da Mara e arrivarono a Elim: a Elim ci sono dodici sorgenti d'acqua e settanta palme. Si accamparono là.
10 But departing from thence also, they pitched their tents by the Red Sea. And departing from the Red Sea,	10 Partirono da Elim e si accamparono presso il Mar Rosso.
11 They camped in the desert of Sin.	11 Partirono dal Mar Rosso e si accamparono nel deserto di Sin.
12 And they removed from thence, and came to Daphca.	12 Partirono dal deserto di Sin e si accamparono in Dofka.
13 And departing from Daphca, they camped in Alus.	13 Partirono da Dofka e si accamparono ad Alus.
14 And departing from Alus, they pitched their tents in Raphidim, where the people wanted water to drink.	14 Partirono da Alus e si accamparono a Refidim: là non c'era acqua da bere per il popolo.
15 And departing from Raphidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.	15 Partirono da Refidim e si accamparono nel deserto del Sinai.
16 But departing also from the desert of Sinai, they came to the graves of lust.	16 Partirono dal deserto del Sinai e si accamparono a Kibrot-Taava.
17 And departing from the graves of lust, they camped in Haseroth.	17 Partirono da Kibrot-Taava e si accamparono a Cazerot.
18 And from Haseroth they came to Rethma.	18 Partirono da Cazerot e si accamparono a Ritma.
19 And departing from Rethma, they camped in Remmomphares.	19 Partirono da Ritma e si accamparono a Rimmon-Perez.
20 And they departed from thence and came to Lebna.	20 Partirono da Rimmon-Perez e si accamparono a Libna.
21 Removing from Lebna they camped in Ressa.	21 Partirono da Libna e si accamparono a Rissa.
22 And departing from Ressa, they came to Ceelatha.	22 Partirono da Rissa e si accamparono a Keelata.
23 And they removed from thence and camped in the mountain Sepher.	23 Partirono da Keelata e si accamparono al monte Sefer.
24 Departing from the mountain Sepher, they came to Arada.	24 Partirono dal monte Sefer e si accamparono a Carada.
25 From thence they went and camped in Maceloth.	25 Partirono da Carada e si accamparono a Makelot.
26 And departing from Maceloth, they came to Thahath.	26 Partirono da Makelot e si accamparono a Tacat.
27 Removing from Thahath they camped in Thare.	27 Partirono da Tacat e si accamparono a Terach.
28 And they departed from thence, and pitched their tents in Methca.	28 Partirono da Terach e si accamparono a Mitka.
29 And removing from Methca, they camped in Hesmona.	29 Partirono da Mitka e si accamparono a Casmona.
30 And departing from Hesmona, they came to Moseroth.	30 Partirono da Casmona e si accamparono a Moserot.
31 And removing from Moseroth, they camped in Benejaacan.	31 Partirono da Moserot e si accamparono a Bene-Iaakan.
32 And departing from Benejaacan, they came to mount Gadgad.	32 Partirono da Bene-Iaakan e si accamparono a Or-Ghidgad.
33 From thence they went and camped in Jetebatha.	33 Partirono da Or-Ghidgad e si accamparono a Iotbata.
34 And from Jetebatha they came to Hebrona.	34 Partirono da Iotbata e si accamparono ad Abrona.
35 And departing from Hebrona, they camped in Asiongaber.	35 Partirono da Abrona e si accamparono a Ezion-Gheber.
36 They removed from thence and came into the desert of Sin, which is Cades.	36 Partirono da Ezion-Gheber e si accamparono nel deserto di Zin, che è Kades.
37 And departing from Cades, they camped in mount Her, in the uttermost borders of the land of Edom.	37 Partirono da Kades e si accamparono al monte Or, all'estremità della terra di Edom.
38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord: and there he died in the fortieth year of the coming forth of the children of Israel out of Egypt, W the fifth month, the first day of the month,	38 Il sacerdote Aronne salì sul monte Or per ordine del Signore e vi morì nell'anno quaranta dall'uscita dei figli d'Israele dalla terra d'Egitto, nel mese quinto, nel primo del mese.
39 When he was a hundred and twenty-three years old.	39 Aronne aveva centoventitré anni, quando morì sul monte Or.
40 And king Arad the Chanaanite, who dwelt towards the south, heard that the children of Israel were come to the land of Chanaan.	40 Il cananeo re di Arad, che risiede nel Negheb, nella terra di Canaan, sentì dell'arrivo dei figli d'Israele.
41 And they departed from mount Her, and camped in Salmona.	41 Partirono dal monte Or e si accamparono a Zalmona.

43 And departing from Phunon, they camped in Oboth.	43 Partirono da Punon e si accamparono a Obot.
44 And from Oboth they came to Ijeabarim, which is in the borders of the Moabites.	44 Partirono da Obot e si accamparono a Iie-Abarim, al confine di Moab.
45 And departing from Ijeabarim they pitched their tents in Dibongab.	45 Partirono da Iie-Abarim e si accamparono a Dibon-Gad.
46 From thence they went and camped in Helmondeblathaim.	46 Partirono da Dibon-Gad e si accamparono in Almon-Diblataim.
47 And departing from Helmondeblathaim, they came to the mountains of Abarim over against Nabo.	47 Partirono da Almon-Diblataim e si accamparono ai monti Abarim, di fronte al Nebo.
48 And departing from the mountains of Abarim, they passed to the plains of Moab, by the Jordan, over against Jericho.	48 Partirono dai monti Abarim e si accamparono nella steppa di Moab, presso il Giordano di Gerico.
49 And there they camped from Bethsi moth even to Ablesatim in the plains of the Moabites,	49 Si accamparono presso il Giordano, da Bet-Iesimot ad Abel-Sittim, nella steppa di Moab.
50 Where the Lord said to Moses:	50 Il Signore disse a Mosè nella steppa di Moab, presso il Giordano di Gerico:
51 Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you shall have passed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Chanaan,	51 "Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Poiché state per passare il Giordano verso la terra di Canaan,
52 Destroy all the inhabitants of that land: beat down their pillars, and break in pieces their statues, and waste all their high places,	52 dovrete scacciare tutti gli abitanti della terra davanti a voi, distruggerete tutte le loro raffigurazioni, distruggerete tutte le loro statue fuse, annienterete tutti i loro luoghi alti.
53 Cleansing the land, and dwelling in it. For I have given it you for a possession.	53 Entrerete in possesso della terra e dei suoi abitanti, perché a voi l'ho data in eredità.
54 And you shall divide it among you by lot. To the more you shall give a larger part, and to the fewer a lesser. To every one as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be given. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and the families.	54 Vi spartirete la terra a sorte, secondo le vostre famiglie: a chi è grande moltiplicherete la propria eredità, a chi è piccolo diminuirete la propria eredità; e avrà quello su cui uscirà per lui la sorte. Vi spartirete secondo le tribù dei vostri padri.
55 But if you will not kill the inhabitants of the land: they that remain, shall be unto you as nails in your eyes, and spears in your sides, and they shall be your adversaries in the land of your habitation.	55 Se non scaccerete gli abitanti del paese davanti a voi, quelli che resteranno di loro saranno spine per i vostri occhi e rovi per i vostri fianchi e vi premeranno nella terra in cui abiterete.
56 And whatsoever I had thought to do to them, I will do to you.	56 Quello che mi ero prefisso di fare a loro, lo farò a voi".
