| 2 Mais Il leur répondit: Voyez-vous tout cela?En vérité, Je vous le dis, il ne restera pas ici pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée. | 2 But he said to them in response: “Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you, there shall not remain here stone upon stone, which is not torn down.” |
| 3 Et comme Il était assis sur le mont des Oliviers, Ses disciples s'approchèrent de Lui en particulier, et Lui dirent: Dites-nous quand ces choses arriveront, et de quel signe il y aura de Votre avènement et de la consommation du siècle. | 3 Then, when he was seated at the Mount of Olives, the disciples drew near to him privately, saying: “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your advent and of the consummation of the age?” |
| 4 Et Jésus leur répondit: Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise. | 4 And answering, Jesus said to them: “Pay attention, lest someone lead you astray. |
| 5 Car beaucoup viendront sous Mon nom, disant: Je suis le Christ, et ils en séduiront beaucoup. | 5 For many will come in my name saying, ‘I am the Christ.’ And they will lead many astray. |
| 6 Vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres.Gardez-vous de vous troubler; car il faut que ces choses arrivent, mais ce ne sera pas encore la fin. | 6 For you will hear of battles and rumors of battles. Take care not to be disturbed. For these things must be, but the end is not so soon. |
| 7 Car on verra se soulever peuple contre peuple, et royaume contre royaume; et il y aura des pestes et des famines, et des tremblements de terre en divers lieux. | 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places. |
| 8 Et tout cela ne sera que le commencement des douleurs. | 8 But all these things are just the beginning of the sorrows. |
| 9 Alors on vous livrera aux tourments, et on vous fera mourir; et vous serez en haine à toutes les nations, à cause de Mon nom. | 9 Then they will hand you over to tribulation, and they will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for the sake of my name. |
| 10 Alors aussi beaucoup seront scandalisés, et ils se trahiront et se haïront les uns les autres. | 10 And then many will be led into sin, and will betray one another, and will have hatred for one another. |
| 11 Et de nombreux faux prophètes surgiront, et séduiront beaucoup de monde. | 11 And many false prophets will arise, and they will lead many astray. |
| 12 Et parce que l'iniquité abondera, la charité d'un grand nombre se refroidira. | 12 And because iniquity has abounded, the charity of many will grow cold. |
| 13 Mais celui qui persévérera jusqu'à la fin sera sauvé. | 13 But whoever will have persevered until the end, the same shall be saved. |

| 19 Malheur aux femmes qui seront enceintes ou qui allaiteront en ces jours-là! | 19 So then, woe to those who are pregnant or nursing in those days. |
| 20 Priez pour que votre fuite n'ait pas lieu en hiver, ou un jour de sabbat. | 20 But pray that your flight may not be in winter, or on the Sabbath. |
| 21 Car il y aura alors une grande tribulation, telle qu'il n'y en a pas eu de pareille depuis le commencement du monde jusqu'à présent, et qu'il n'y en aura jamais. | 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until the present, and such as will not be. |
| 22 Et si ces jours n'avaient été abrégés, nulle chair n'aurait été sauvée; mais, à cause des élus, ces jours seront abrégés. | 22 And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days shall be shortened. |
| 23 Alors si quelqu'un vous dit: Voici, le Christ est ici; ou: Il est là, ne le croyez pas. | 23 Then if anyone will have said to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘he is there,’ do not be willing to believe it. |
| 24 Car il s'élèvera de faux christs et de faux prophètes, qui feront de grands signes et des prodiges, au point de séduire, s'il était possible, même les élus. | 24 For there will arise false Christs and false prophets. And they will produce great signs and wonders, so much so as to lead into error even the elect (if this could be). |
| 25 Voici que Je vous l'ai prédit. | 25 Behold, I have warned you beforehand. |

| 36 Quant à ce jour et à cette heure, personne ne les connaît, pas même les Anges des Cieux, mais le Père seul. | 36 But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the Angels of the heavens, but only the Father. |
| 37 Ce qui arriva aux jours de Noé arrivera aussi à l'avènement du Fils de l'homme. | 37 And just as in the days of Noah, so also will be the advent of the Son of man. |

| 46 Heureux ce serviteur, si son maître, à son arrivée, le trouve agissant ainsi! | 46 Blessed is that servant, if, when his lord has arrived, he shall find him doing so. |
| 47 En vérité, Je vous le dis, il l'établira sur tous ses biens. | 47 Amen I say to you, he shall appoint him over all of his goods. |
| 48 Mais si ce serviteur est méchant, et dit en son coeur: Mon maître tarde à venir, | 48 But if that evil servant has said in his heart, ‘My lord has been delayed in returning,’ |
| 49 et s'il se met à battre ses compagnons, s'il mange et boit avec les ivrognes, | 49 and so, he begins to strike his fellow servants, and he eats and drinks with the inebriated: |
| 50 le maître de ce serviteur viendra au jour où il ne s'y attend pas, et à l'heure qu'il ne connaît pas, | 50 then the lord of that servant will arrive on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know. |
| 51 et il le séparera, et lui assignera sa part avec les hypocrites; là il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents. | 51 And he shall separate him, and he shall place his portion with the hypocrites, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” |
