| 8 Et les restes de Jacob seront parmi les nations, au milieu de peuples nombreux, comme un lion parmi les bêtes des forêts, et comme un lionceau parmi les troupeaux de brebis; quand il passe, qu'il foule aux pieds et qu'il saisit, il n'y a personne qui délivre. | 8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, which, when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver. |
| 9 Votre main s'élèvera au-dessus de vos ennemis, et tous vos adversaires périront. | 9 Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off. |
| 10 Et voici, en ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, J'enlèverai tes chevaux du milieu de toi, et Je détruirai tes chars; | 10 And in that day, says the LORD, I will cut off your horses from among you and will destroy your chariots; |
| 11 Je ruinerai les villes de ton pays, et Je détruirai toutes tes forteresses; J'enlèverai de tes mains les sortilèges, et il n'y aura plus de divinations chez toi; | 11 and I will cut off the cities of your land and throw down all your strongholds; |
| 12 J'exterminerai du milieu de toi tes idoles et tes statues, et tu n'adoreras plus les ouvrages de tes mains; | 12 and I will cut off sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no more soothsayers; |
| 13 J'arracherai tes bois sacrés du milieu de toi, et Je détruirai tes villes; | 13 and I will cut off your images and your pillars from among you, and you shall bow down no more to the work of your hands; |
| 14 et Je Me vengerai, dans Ma fureur et Mon indignation, de toutes les nations qui ne M'ont pas écouté. | 14 and I will root out your Asherim from among you and destroy your cities. |
| 15 And in anger and wrath I will execute vengeance upon the nations that did not obey. |
