| 1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et lui dit: | 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 Parlez aux enfants d'Israël, et dites-leur: L'homme qui aura fait un voeu et qui aura promis à Dieu de Lui consacrer sa vie, payera pour se décharger de son voeu un certain prix, selon l'estimation suivante: | 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation. |
| 3 Si c'est un homme, depuis la vingtième année jusqu'à la soixantième, il donnera cinquante sicles d'argent, selon le poids du sanctuaire; | 3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. |
| 4 Si c'est une femme, elle en donnera trente. | 4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. |
| 5 Depuis cinq ans jusqu'à vingt, l'homme donnera vingt sicles; et la femme dix. | 5 And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. |
| 6 Depuis un mois jusqu'à cinq ans, on donnera cinq sicles pour un garçon; et trois pour une fille. | 6 And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. |
| 7 Depuis soixante ans et au-dessus, un homme donnera quinze sicles, et une femme dix. | 7 And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels. |
| 8 Si c'est un pauvre, qui ne puisse payer le prix de son voeu suivant l'estimation ordinaire, il se présentera devant le prêtre, qui en jugera, et il donnera autant que le prêtre le verra capable de payer. | 8 But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him. |
| 9 Si quelqu'un voue au Seigneur une bête qui Lui puisse être immolée, elle sera sainte, | 9 And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy. |
| 10 Et elle ne pourra être changée; c'est-à-dire qu'on n'en pourra donner ni une meilleure pour une mauvaise, ni une pire pour une bonne. Si celui qui l'a vouée la change, et la bête qui aura été changée, et celle qu'on aura substituée à sa place, sera consacrée au Seigneur. | 10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy. |
| 11 Si quelqu'un voue au Seigneur une bête impure qui ne puisse Lui être immolée, elle sera amenée devant le prêtre, | 11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest: |
| 12 Qui jugera si elle est bonne ou mauvaise, et y mettra le prix. | 12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be. |
| 13 Si celui qui offre la bête en veut payer le prix, il y ajoutera encore un cinquième à l'estimation qui en sera faite. | 13 But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation. |
| 14 Si un homme voue sa maison et la consacre au Seigneur, le prêtre considérera si elle est bonne ou mauvaise, et elle sera vendue selon le prix qu'il y aura mis. | 14 And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand. |
| 15 Si celui qui a fait le voeu la veut racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième à l'estimation qui en aura été faite, et il aura la maison. | 15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his. |
| 16 Que s'il a voué et consacré au Seigneur le champ qu'il possède, on y mettra le prix à proportion de la quantité de grain qu'on emploie pour l'ensemencer; s'il faut trente mesures d'orge pour ensemencer le champ, il sera vendu cinquante sicles d'argent. | 16 And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. |
| 17 Si un homme fait voeu de donner son champ dès le commencement de l'année du jubilé, il sera estimé autant qu'il pourra valoir. | 17 If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand. |
| 18 S'il le voue quelque temps après, le prêtre supputera l'argent selon le nombre des années qui restent jusqu'au jubilé, et il en ôtera autant du prix. | 18 But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation. |
| 19 Si celui qui avait voué son champ veut le racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième à l'estimation qui en aura été faite, et il le possédera de nouveau. | 19 And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him. |
| 20 S'il ne veut pas le racheter, et s'il a été vendu à un autre, il ne sera plus au pouvoir de celui qui l'avait voué de le racheter. | 20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. |
| 21 Parce que, lorsque le jour du jubilé sera venu, il sera consacré au Seigneur, et qu'un bien consacré appartient aux prêtres. | 21 But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's. |
| 22 Si le champ qui a été consacré au Seigneur a été acheté, et n'est pas venu, à celui qui le donne, de la succession de ses ancêtres, | 22 And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession; |
| 23 Le prêtre en fixera le prix, en supputant les années qui restent jusqu'au jubilé, et celui qui l'avait voué donnera ce prix au Seigneur; | 23 Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD. |
| 24 Mais en l'année du jubilé, le champ retournera à l'ancien propriétaire qui l'avait vendu, et qui l'avait possédé comme un bien qui lui était propre. | 24 In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong. |
| 25 Toute estimation se fera au poids du sicle du sanctuaire. Le sicle a vingt oboles. | 25 And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel. |
| 26 Personne ne pourra consacrer ni vouer les premiers-nés, parce qu'ils appartiennent au Seigneur; que ce soit un veau ou une brebis, ils sont au Seigneur. | 26 Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD's. |
| 27 Si la bête est impure, celui qui l'avait offerte la rachètera suivant votre estimation, et il ajoutera encore le cinquième du prix. S'il ne veut pas la racheter, elle sera vendue à un autre au prix que vous l'aurez estimée. | 27 And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation. |
| 28 Tout ce qui est consacré au Seigneur, que ce soit un homme, ou une bête, ou un champ, ne se vendra point, et ne pourra être racheté. Tout ce qui aura été consacré une fois au Seigneur sera pour Lui, comme étant une chose très sainte. | 28 Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD. |
| 29 Tout ce qui aura été offert par un homme, et consacré au Seigneur, ne se rachètera point; mais il faudra nécessairement qu'il meure. | 29 None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death. |
| 30 Toutes les dîmes de la terre, soit des grains, soit des fruits des arbres, appartiennent au Seigneur, et Lui sont consacrées. | 30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. |
| 31 Mais si quelqu'un veut racheter ses dîmes, il donnera un cinquième en sus du prix qu'elles seront estimées. | 31 And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. |
| 32 Tous les dixièmes des boeufs, des brebis et des chèvres, et de tout ce qui passe sous la verge du pasteur, seront offerts au Seigneur. | 32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. |
| 33 On ne choisira ni un bon ni un mauvais, et on ne changera point l'un pour l'autre. Si quelqu'un fait ce changement, ce qui aura été changé, et ce qui aura été mis à sa place, sera consacré au Seigneur, et ne pourra être racheté. | 33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed. |
| 34 Ce sont là les ordonnances que le Seigneur a données à Moïse pour les enfants d'Israël sur la montagne du Sinaï. | 34 These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai. |
