| 4 Et elle demeurera encore trente-trois jours pour être purifiée de la suite de ses couches. Elle ne touchera à rien qui soit saint, et elle n'entrera point dans le sanctuaire jusqu'à ce que les jours de sa purification soient accomplis. | 4 and she wil wait another thirty-three days for her blood to be purified. She wil not touch anythingconsecrated nor go to the sanctuary until the time of her purification is over. |
| 5 Si elle enfante une fille, elle sera impure pendant deux semaines, comme lorsqu'elle est séparée à cause de son indisposition mensuelle; elle demeurera soixante-six jours pour être purifiée de la suite de ses couches. | 5 "If she gives birth to a girl, she wil be unclean for two weeks, as during her monthly periods; and willwait another sixty-six days for her blood to be purified. |

"Such is the law concerning a woman who gives birth to either a boy or a girl. |
| 8 Si elle n'a pas le moyen de se procurer un agneau, elle prendra deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes, l'un pour être offert en holocauste, et l'autre pour le péché; et le prêtre priera pour elle, et elle sera ainsi purifiée. | 8 If she cannot afford a lamb, she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the burntoffering and the other for the sacrifice for sin. The priest will perform the rite of expiation for her and she wil bepurified." ' |
