2 Il a de quoi s’imposer et faire trembler, il fait régner la paix au plus haut des cieux!	2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.
3 Qui pourrait compter ses armées, sur qui sa lumière ne se lève-t-elle pas?	3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?
4 Un humain sera-t-il juste devant Dieu? né de la femme, sera-t-il sans reproche?	4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?
5 Même la lune est pour lui sans éclat, et les étoiles lui paraissent bien pâles,	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.
6 que dire alors des humains, cette vermine, du fils d’un homme, ce ver de terre!	6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?
