1 Rispose Baldad Suite, e disse:	1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 La signoria e la paura è appresso colui che fa la concordia nelle sue altissime cose.	2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.
3 Or (non) è numero delli suoi cavalieri? E sopra lo quale non si rizza lo lume di colui?	3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?
4 Or (non si) puote essere giustificato l' uomo assomigliato a Dio, ovvero apparire mondo, nato della femina?	4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?
5 Ecco e già la luna non risplende, e le stelle non sono monde dinanzi da lui.	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.
6 Quanto e maggiormente l' uomo puzza, e lo figliuolo dell' uomo vermini?	6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?
