1 Quando giunsero nei pressi di Kaserin, di fronte a Ninive, Raffaele disse:	1 After these things Tobias went his way, praising God that he had given him a prosperous journey, and blessed Raguel and Edna his wife, and went on his way till they drew near unto Nineve.
2 "Tu sai in quale condizione abbiamo lasciato tuo padre.	2 Then Raphael said to Tobias, Thou knowest, brother, how thou didst leave thy father:
3 Corriamo avanti, prima di tua moglie, e prepariamo la casa, mentre gli altri arrivano".	3 Let us haste before thy wife, and prepare the house.
4 Partirono ambedue insieme e Raffaele gli disse: "Prendi in mano il fiele". Il cane li seguiva.	4 And take in thine hand the gall of the fish. So they went their way, and the dog went after them.
5 Anna intanto stava seduta, intenta a controllare il cammino per il quale doveva ritornare il figlio.	5 Now Anna sat looking about toward the way for her son.
6 Avuto il presentimento che ritornava, disse al padre di lui: "Ecco, arriva tuo figlio insieme a colui che l'ha accompagnato".	6 And when she espied him coming, she said to his father, Behold, thy son cometh, and the man that went with him.
7 Prima che si avvicinasse al padre, Raffaele disse a Tobia: "Sono sicuro che i suoi occhi si apriranno.	7 Then said Raphael, I know, Tobias, that thy father will open his eyes.
8 Spalma il fiele del pesce sui suoi occhi; il farmaco intaccherà e asporterà le macchie bianche dai suoi occhi, così tuo padre riavrà la vista e vedrà la luce".	8 Therefore anoint thou his eyes with the gall, and being pricked therewith, he shall rub, and the whiteness shall fall away, and he shall see thee.
9 Anna corse avanti e si gettò al collo del figlio dicendogli: "Ti rivedo, o figlio; ora posso morire". Poi scoppiò in pianto.	9 Then Anna ran forth, and fell upon the neck of her son, and said unto him, Seeing I have seen thee, my son, from henceforth I am content to die. And they wept both.
10 Tobi si alzò e incespicando uscì dalla porta del cortile.	10 Tobit also went forth toward the door, and stumbled: but his son ran unto him,
11 Tobia gli andò incontro tenendo in mano il fiele del pesce; soffiò sui suoi occhi e tirandolo vicino gli disse: "Coraggio, padre!". Indi applicò il farmaco e glielo tenne fermo.	11 And took hold of his father: and he strake of the gall on his fathers' eyes, saying, Be of good hope, my father.
12 Poi con ambedue le mani distaccò le scaglie bianche dai margini degli occhi.	12 And when his eyes began to smart, he rubbed them;
13 Allora Tobi gli si gettò al collo e tra le lacrime gli disse: "Ti rivedo, o figlio, luce dei miei occhi!".	13 And the whiteness pilled away from the corners of his eyes: and when he saw his son, he fell upon his neck.
14 E aggiunse: "Benedetto Dio! Benedetto il suo grande nome! Benedetti tutti i suoi santi angeli! Che il suo nome glorioso ci protegga! Benedetti siano gli angeli per tutti i secoli! Poiché egli mi ha colpito, ma mi ha usato misericordia, e ora vedo il mio figlio Tobia!".	14 And he wept, and said, Blessed art thou, O God, and blessed is thy name for ever; and blessed are all thine holy angels:
15 Tobia entrò in casa lieto e benedicendo Dio a piena voce. Poi Tobia informò suo padre del buon esito del viaggio, del denaro che aveva riportato e di Sara, figlia di Raguel, che aveva preso in moglie e che stava arrivando, trovandosi ormai vicina alla porta di Ninive.	15 For thou hast scourged, and hast taken pity on me: for, behold, I see my son Tobias. And his son went in rejoicing, and told his father the great things that had happened to him in Media.
16 Allora Tobi, lieto e benedicendo Dio, uscì incontro alla sposa di lui verso la porta di Ninive. Quando la gente di Ninive lo vide camminare e circolare con tutto il vigore di un tempo, senza che nessuno lo conducesse per mano, rimase meravigliata. Tobi proclamava davanti a loro che Dio aveva avuto pietà di lui e che gli aveva aperto gli occhi.	16 Then Tobit went out to meet his daughter in law at the gate of Nineve, rejoicing and praising God: and they which saw him go marvelled, because he had received his sight.
17 Avvicinatosi poi a Sara, la moglie del suo figlio Tobia, la benedisse con queste parole: "Sii benvenuta, o figlia! Sia benedetto il tuo Dio che ti ha fatto venire da noi, o figlia! Benedetto sia tuo padre, benedetto il mio figlio Tobia e benedetta tu, o figlia! Entra nella casa che è tua, in buona salute, in benedizione e gioia, entra, o figlia!".	17 But Tobias gave thanks before them, because God had mercy on him. And when he came near to Sara his daughter in law, he blessed her, saying, Thou art welcome, daughter: God be blessed, which hath brought thee unto us, and blessed be thy father and thy mother. And there was joy among all his brethren which were at Nineve.
18 In quel giorno ci fu una grande festa per tutti i Giudei di Ninive. Achikar e Nadab, nipoti di Tobi, vennero a congratularsi con lui. E si festeggiarono le nozze di Tobia con gioia per sette giorni.	18 And Achiacharus, and Nasbas his brother's son, came:
