1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David, in remembrance that the Lord had saved him.	1 (Per la fine. Salmo di David a ricordare che Dio l'aveva salvato).
2 O God, reach out to help me. O Lord, hasten to assist me.	2 O Dio, moviti in mio soccorso, o Signore, t'affretta ad aiutarmi.
3 May those who seek my soul be confounded and awed.	3 Sian confusi e svergognati coloro che attentano alla mia vita.
4 May those who wish evils upon me be turned back and blush with shame. May they be turned away immediately, blushing with shame, who say to me: “Well, well.”	4 Sian volti in fuga e pieni di rossore coloro che mi desideran del male. Subito sian volti in fuga ignominiosamente coloro che mi dicono: « Bene! Bene! »
5 Let all who seek you exult and rejoice in you, and let those who love your salvation forever say: “The Lord be magnified.”	5 Esultino in te e si rallegrino tutti quelli che ti cercano. E dican sempre: « Sia glorificato il Signore » quelli che bramano da te la salvezza.
6 I am truly destitute and poor. O God, assist me. You are my helper and my deliverer. O Lord, do not delay.	6 Ma io son bisognoso e povero; aiutami, o Dio. Tu sei il mio aiuto, il mio liberatore: o Signore, non tardare.
