Psalms 51

1 Unto the end. The understanding of David.	1 למנצח מזמור לדוד בבוא אליו נתן הנביא כאשר בא אל בת שבע חנני אלהים כחסדך כרב רחמיך מחה פשעי
2 When Doeg the Edomite came and reported to Saul, David went to the house of Ahimelech.	2 הרבה כבסני מעוני ומחטאתי טהרני
3 Why do you glory in malice, you who are powerful in iniquity?	3 כי פשעי אני אדע וחטאתי נגדי תמיד
4 All day long your tongue thinks up injustice. Like a sharp razor, you have wrought deceit.	4 לך לבדך חטאתי והרע בעיניך עשיתי למען תצדק בדברך תזכה בשפטך
5 You have loved malice above goodness, and iniquity more than speaking righteousness.	5 הן בעוון חוללתי ובחטא יחמתני אמי
6 You have loved all precipitous words, you deceitful tongue.	6 הן אמת חפצת בטחות ובסתם חכמה תודיעני
7 Because of this, God will destroy you in the end. He will pull you up, and he will remove you from your tabernacle and your root from the land of the living.	7 תחטאני באזוב ואטהר תכבסני ומשלג אלבין
8 The just will see and be afraid, and they will laugh over him, and say:	8 תשמיעני ששון ושמחה תגלנה עצמות דכית
9 “Behold the man who did not set God as his helper. But he hoped in the multitude of his riches, and so he prevailed in his emptiness.”	9 הסתר פניך מחטאי וכל עונתי מחה
10 But I, like a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God unto eternity, and forever and ever.	10 לב טהור ברא לי אלהים ורוח נכון חדש בקרבי
11 I will confess to you forever, because you have accomplished it. And I will wait on your name, for it is good in the sight of your saints.	11 אל תשליכני מלפניך ורוח קדשך אל תקח ממני
	12 השיבה לי ששון ישעך ורוח נדיבה תסמכני
	13 אלמדה פשעים דרכיך וחטאים אליך ישובו
	14 הצילני מדמים אלהים אלהי תשועתי תרנן לשוני צדקתך
	15 אדני שפתי תפתח ופי יגיד תהלתך
	16 כי לא תחפץ זבח ואתנה עולה לא תרצה
	17 זבחי אלהים רוח נשברה לב נשבר ונדכה אלהים לא תבזה
	18 היטיבה ברצונך את ציון תבנה חומות ירושלם
	19 אז תחפץ זבחי צדק עולה וכליל אז יעלו על מזבחך פרים
