Psalms 148

1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.	1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabad a Yahveh desde los cielos, alabadle en las alturas,
2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.	2 alabadle, ángeles suyos todos, todas sus huestes, alabadle!
3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.	3 ¡Alabadle, sol y luna, alabadle todas las estrellas de luz,
4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens	4 alabadle, cielos de los cielos, y aguas que estáis encima de los cielos!
5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.	5 Alaben ellos el nombre de Yahveh: pues él ordenó y fueron creados;
6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.	6 él los fijó por siempre, por los siglos, ley les dio que no pasará.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,	7 ¡Alabad a Yahveh desde la tierra, monstruos del mar y todos los abismos,
8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,	8 fuego y granizo, nieve y bruma, viento tempestuoso, ejecutor de su palabra,
9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,	9 montañas y todas la colinas, árbol frutal y cedros todos,
10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,	10 fieras y todos los ganados, reptil y pájaro que vuela,
11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,	11 reyes de la tierra y pueblos todos, príncipes y todos los jueces de la tierra,
12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.	12 jóvenes y doncellas también, viejos junto con los niños!
13 For his name alone is exalted.	13 Alaben el nombre de Yahveh: porque sólo su nombre es sublime, su majestad por encima de la tierra y el cielo.
14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.	14 El realza la frente de su pueblo, de todos sus amigos alabanza, de los hijos de Israel, pueblo de sus íntimos.
