Unto the end. For the octave. A Psalm of David.1 Du maître de chant. De David. En Yahvé j'ai mon abri. Comment dites-vous à mon âme: "Fuis à tamontagne, passereau.
Save me, O Lord, because holiness has passed away, because truths have been diminished, before the sons of men.2 "Vois les impies bander leur arc, ils ajustent leur flèche à la corde pour viser dans l'ombre lescoeurs droits;
They have been speaking emptiness, each one to his neighbor; they have been speaking with deceitful lips and a duplicitous heart.3 si les fondations sont ruinées, que peut le juste?"
May the Lord scatter all deceitful lips, along with the tongue that speaks malice.4 Yahvé dans son palais de sainteté, Yahvé, dans les cieux est son trône; ses yeux contemplent lemonde, ses paupières éprouvent les fils d'Adam.
They have said: “We will magnify our tongue; our lips belong to us. What is Lord to us?”5 Yahvé éprouve le juste et l'impie. Qui aime la violence, son âme le hait.
Because of the misery of the destitute and the groaning of the poor, now I will arise, says the Lord. I will place him in safety. I will act faithfully toward him.6 Il fera pleuvoir sur les impies charbons de feu et soufre et dans leur coupe un vent de flamme pourleur part.
The eloquence of the Lord is pure eloquence, silver tested by fire, purged from the earth, refined seven times.7 Yahvé est juste, il aime la justice, les coeurs droits contempleront sa face.
You, O Lord, will preserve us, and you will guard us from this generation into eternity.
The impious wander aimlessly. According to your loftiness, you have multiplied the sons of men.
